Saw Dr. Johnson today for a knee issue. As usual, he listened, did a thorough exam, and then discussed in detail my options for treatment.

Love me some dr. Johnson! After making an appointment with him for what I thought was muscular pain in my shoulder and arm, he ended up finding that it was actually pinched nerves in my neck, which it seems he knew within the first 5 minutes of talking to me. I have been a nurse for 26 years and have never needed to see an orthopedist for any reason. I chose dr. Johnson because I'm from Roanoke and I know he's been around here for quite some time. He ordered physical therapy for me which did wonder but the numbness in my arm kept continuing. An MRI was ordered and I am now going to see a neck and spine surgeon that Doctor Johnson has recommended. He absolutely does not order test that aren't needed and he was really considerate about allowing me to choose what tests I wanted done. I highly recommend dr. Johnson. He's a great guy.

Dr. Johnson is a great doctor. He is a very caring compassionate person. He runs whatever test is necessary to find out the complete picture of whatever the problem is before he diagnose. And then he let's you know what needs to be done to fix the problem. I had a large tear in my rotary cup to which he did a great job in repairing with surgery. He has great bedside manners and is very encouraging and protective of your overall healing process. I would recommend him for anyone who needs help.

Dr. Brent Johnson is a very knowledgeable doctor. His decisions and bedside manor are as good as one can find. That has been my experience with two visits for different conditions concerning my right shoulder. He also has an excellent staff. His staff, the front office staff and this remodeled facility are first class in every way
