Dr. Brent Macdonald, MD

Dr MacDonald takes time to address your health wellness each time you see him. He like other health care provider is not in a hurry to see the next patient until answer your issues and provide solution. He is very caring and personal. He returns your phone calls even on Saturday to address any issues you may have. I am a patient of his for the last 20 years and going. I go to India every year with confidence because I know he has checked me thoroughly before going and when I come back I visit him for full health exam. He is a physician, a professional and a friend you don't find in today's world. Thank you Dr Mac Donald. See you next visit.

Dr.Macdonald’s bedside manner was abysmal. Rather than addressing my concerns, he was dismissive and condescending. I also sent a follow up message to my actual PCP who is in the same practice expressing my concerns and once again, he responded in an unprofessional manner. I would not have confidence in referring any of my friends or family to Dr.Macdonald in the future.

Disregarding the Hopkins bureaucracy and their idiosyncracies, Dr. MacDonald's attention omitted all else other than me, during the visit. I noted his exceptional medical experience and expertise when faced with unusual questions regarding my health and medical history. He was light-hearted, attentive, and highly knowledegable. I enjoyed my visit, and left with a better understanding of my physical condition, and how the future may unfold for me. I also scheduled a follow-up, and look forward to seeing him again.

I would not recommend him if he was the last doctor, there is no confidentiality with him, he has caused family issues that are almost unbearable for the simple reason of not wanting to be sued. Instead of saying something else other than the request was from a family member. He can be like Pontius Pilate and wash his hands of this whole issue if he's so afraid for himself. Be free to reverse your decision and let her drive her sister will take full responsibility if her or someone else is injured in a accident. Oh and have a blessed day.

I made this appointment 6 months in advance. I always take the first appointment of the day. Dr Macdonald is always late. Today I just got tired of waiting and left.

I rate him 5 stars. He is patient, has excellent bedside manners. He is on time and an excellent health counselor.

Dr. MacDonald is an excellent physician. He is a very caring and thorough clinician. He correctly diagnosed my thyroid condition and caught it early on. He probably saved my life. He is also a very nice guy.

Horrible experience. Waiting over an hour to get a 5 minute exam. I had to ask for blood work and exams to be performed while he was busy checking my incredible range of motion. Not going back

Unprofessional, not responsive, not caring, and doesn't understand medicine for the typical citizen. This doctor doesn't respond in a timely manner and is nothing more than a referral service even for basic requests.
