Dr. Brent Moody, MD

Had MOHS for basal cell carcinoma Nov 2023. After several (3 or 4) excisions, Dr. Moody removed cancer from my nose leaving a quarter sized crater on my nose. The plan was skin graft and flap to cover the wound at follow up visit; but was put off at follow up to see how it healed. Bottom line…after 6 months no flap and my nose was disfigured with bad scar. Dr. Moody is a good doctor, but I think in my case he should have immediately referred me for reconstructive plastic surgery as my recovery was prolonged because now, Jan 2025, I have recently undergone reconstructive surgery with another several month recovery period. My advice to future patients, please be proactive and ask for referral for plastic surgery if your excision site is unusually large and deep.

I’ve been going to Dr. Moody for several years now and I was in there morning for another surgery. The entire staff are absolutely a great team. I’ve always had excellent, friendly and professional service each and every time. In today’s world it’s not always a pleasure interacting with front offices and staff. As weird as it is I look forward to seeing each and every one of them even though I’m in for the cut. I love ‘em and I highly recommend Dr Brent and his pleasant employees.

This will be my fourth visit with Dr. Moody. He is an outstanding Dr. and his staff are also outstanding. No wait time, They are very professional

Dr. Moody and his staff treated me for a Basel cell carcinoma recently. Their patient concern and medical procedures are to be commended. I would highly recommend Dr. Moody for dermatology issues.

Dr. Moody removed a large squamous skin cancer off my arm yesterday. I was treated very well by Dr. Moody and his staff. The staff was able to work me in earlier than my appointment because of my pain and discomfort, Great staff with lots of compassion...the best ever! Highly recommend him.

Doctor Brent Moody and his staff are the best working team I have ever dealt with. I am 70 years old and have had many surgery's. Dr. Moody explained everything to me as we went along with the surgery. I was in and out of his office in one hour and fifteen minutes including the forty minute lab time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moody’s since 2006 and he has taken very good care of my many skin blemishes and cancers during that time, including a melanoma and squamous and basal cell cancers. Dr Moody is competent, quiet, and efficient in his treatment procedures..

Very unhappy with the surgery Brent Moody did-what should have been a MOHS procedure left me with a bad scar & required plastic surgery to try to make my lip look normal. MOHS was to be performed on very small place - but with ONE CUT took off so much of my lip, creating a huge gap! I understand the cancer could have been deeper than expected, but with MOHS, you evaluate as you take off EACH layer of skin. He did it in ONE cut. I do not want anyone else going through this. Run!

Dr. Moody and his staff are excellent, efficient, and kind! I was well informed about my procedure prior to my case. On the day of my procedure I hardly had to wait and everyone was very helpful and kind. Dr. Moody has great bedside manner and explained everything he was doing. His nurse was friendly and comforting. I would recommend Dr. Moody and this practice to anyone needing to have skin cancer removal.

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 melanoma on my left shin and referred to Dr. Moody for outpatient surgery. Dr. Moody and his staff were courteous, professional and extremely helpful. As it was my first experience with melanoma, I was extremely nervous. Dr. Moody answered all my questions and his nurses were extremely supportive, patient and kind. Thank you, Dr. Moody and his entire staff, from the scheduler to the front desk and all nurses!

Dr. Moody removed a cancer spot on my nose. I had 18 stitches down the center of my nose. Dr. Moody did an exceptional job getting all the cancer out and leaving only tiny scar.

Everything about the two procedures I recently had was excellent. It meant a lot to me to discover that Dr. Moody is also a wonderful artist. His paintings adorn the practice and they have a calming effect. He clearly has an eye for aesthetics and proportion, so important in the work he does. His staff is cheerful, compassionate, and very happy. I am grateful he could fit me in so quickly. He is also scholarly active, always a good sign.
