Dr. Brenton McCoy, DO

Dr. Mccoy took exceptional care of my mother while she was in the ICU for cardiac arrest. From the very beginning, his bedside manner was warm and caring, and my entire family truly looked forward to his updates each day because of the empathy in which he approached his patients. He was truly a bright spot during a very difficult time. Thank you Dr. Mccoy!

Doctor McCoy's time with me was precious... through two cancers and the suicide of my son ( Fire fighter), all occurring within a few years of each other. He not only took time to listen, but did the critical BASICS of any internal medicine physician...." Let me listen to your heart... Stick out your tongue... Let's check your ears." These basic rarities are uncommon in most physician visits. You will never know how much he was appreciated through these few years with him while he worked with Suncoast. His coordination and communication with the Moffitt Cancer Center was remarkable, both by them and by Dr. McCoy.

I've gone to Dr. McCoy for 2 years. He was recommended by my cardiologist. He is a wonderful person and doctor, with a caring attitude. He goes over my lab tests with a fine tooth comb, and gives me advice on how to improve my health. The only "problem" is that his schedule fills up fast with patients. Highly recommend.

We just moved here full time from CO and need to find a primary care doctor. Dr. McCoy was suggested by a nurse. We couldn't be happier or more satisfied with him. After yrs. of a favorite we were not setting our hopes too high, but, we have such confidence in his care and treatment of us.

Nice and caring but lacking the wisdom and knowledge of an older more experienced physician. Terrible office environment with a high turnover rate of office staff with nonexistant professionalism. Prescriptions always filled late requiring constant calling to pharmacy and office resulting in a medical emergency. No receptionist, Impossible to contact with provided office numbers, all calls going to voicemail. Not recommended.

Dr. McCoy is the most empathetic and caring physician I've met. I trust his judgement implicitly and have recommended him to all of my family and friends.

Dr. McCoy is such a personable person who really takes the time to listen. I've always used female physicians in the past, but decided to give Dr. McCoy a try because of other reviews. I was not disappointed. I do recommend this doctor to anyone, and in fact my husband is planning on changing over to him.

Dr. McCoy is an awesome Doctor. I wish I had found him 20yrs ago. He cares about you inside and outside of the office. Dr. McCoy really listens to you. My mother was having problems with her primary care doctor so I brought her with me on one of my appointments. She was so impressed with his knowledge, his concern for your well being and his over all "bedside manners". Now my mom sees him as her primary care. He is the best!

EXTREMELY CARING EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SMART AS A WHIP YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PCP IN THIS AREA
