Fantastic surgeon
I recently needed surgery while in the hospital in Newburyport. This brilliant surgeon performed an emergency surgery. He was very caring! He explained everything so I could understand. He told me all my options and helped me with everything. If you are looking for a smart, compassionate and kind surgeon, this is the person. I would highly recommend!

My husband had Dr. Matthews for emergency hernia surgery. From the initial exam through the surgery and aftercare.Dr. Matthews was professional and caring. He thoroughly explained the procedure, follow-up care. and what our expectations should be We would highly recommend him.
