I started seeing Dr. Richard’s a year and a half ago. He explains everything and what he would suggest I do first his staff and him are fantastic. They all take time to explain I was there today and saw the PA and Abby happy sad and talk to me about a few things that I had asked her about the PA in her came back and I got a shot in my finger a lot of fluid into a little area. I think I was a big baby, but they made me feel good about how I acted. I will recommend Dr. Richards and his staff and I love Ogden clinic. I have three doctors there and love every single one of them.

Eliminated My Thumb Pain
I saw Dr. Richards for thumb pain. He offered conservative treatment options including OTC medicine, prescription medicine and injection. We tried all in that order. It didn't help overnight but he explained that in my clinic visits. After the last treatment of an injection, I am pain free and back to normal activity. I am grateful to Dr. Brett and his staff. They really care and take time to explain everything.

Dr. Richard and his assistant PA and his medical technician were super. Duper helped me and I just feel no pain in that arm after the injection and it didn’t hardly hurt.

Narcissist
I have had three surgeries with Dr. Richards. Two of them successful. The third one was an unnecessary surgery. It did not work and I was on a conveyor belt of surgeries that day.. He does not care about his patience. He only cares about his trips out of the country now. He was not there for any of my follow up appointments. The surgery was unsuccessful and when I talked to the administration about it. They blamed me. for not listening. Even though I spent most of my time with his nurses. That didn't even know how to take stitches out. I witnessed him dancing and thrusting in front of his coworkers telling them about his vacations. While I am still sitting here. After 14 weeks still with the same pain and numbness. He got awarded for best orthopedic surgeon in Utah. Don't believe it. After I turned him in, I got blacklisted everywhere. Even the emergency room. I am pulling all of my records from Ogden Clinic and taking them somewhere else.

Dr. Richards is the greatest!
I love doctor Richards, he is awesome at what he does and he is willing to fight the insurance companies and anything or one that gets in the way of his pateints getting the help they need. I am 8 days out from surgery and they took stitches out today. I can use my rt. hand more now than before the surgery. I'll see him in 4 weeks to make sure everything is still working and doing great! He is a kind and caring Dr. who works for his patients and not the insurance company like other Doctors do. I stromg advise anyone having issues with their hands to book an appointment with Dr. Richards, because he's the best! I've had 4 hand doctors and he is fantastic!

Dr. Brent Richards Hand Surgery
I am a repeat customer of Dr. Richards for hand surgery of the CMC Joint due to Arthritis pain upon movement. He gave back the ability to use both hands to function in everyday life and for that I am grateful. The 2 surgeries were about 7 years apart, but the same talented surgeon has given me back the use of both thumbs. He is the best, kind and caring. Many thanks to him and his staff

Went in to Dr Richards to have a ganglion cyst removed. After 10 weeks can not feel fingers or use hsnd. No follow up from doctor or staff. Doctor says he cares about patients but passed off to other doctors who are left to fix what he screws up. Under no circumstances should anyone go to him or Ogden clinic.

He suggested that my hand weakness was because I was "old" (29 years old). Lisa, his scheduler, would never call me back to make an appointment for surgery and would tell staff in the office to lie and say she wasn't there. I could not get her to call me back or to answer the phone for a very long time. I had to physically go into the office and call on my cell phone and then call the staff's bluff when they said she was gone. I walked up to the desk and told them I could see her standing there. That was the only was I got my surgery scheduled. I had to pay for the surgery out of my own pocket. 100%. He knew this. The surgery didn't work. He didn't seem to care at all that it hadn't worked and that I'd just spent years of my life going to appointments and doing tests and now a $7k surgery that I had to pay for all out of my own pocket. He simply acts like he cannot be bothered. Very abrupt. Very rude. He acts as though he doesn't even want to be there.

Dr Richards repaired my ruptured bicep tendon last year and it’s better than ever. This year I ruptured one of the upper bicep tendons in the opposite arm. No surgery this time after Dr Richards thoroughly explained the pros and cons. Dr. Richards takes the time to listen and explain so that I could make an informed decision about the surgical procedure.
