Eronous charges, total disregard for my work time
They are 100% about the MONEY . I did a telehealth for general test results. My appt. was for 1:45pm. They didn't let me know they were gonna be late so I had to call them like i have time to baby a Dr.'s office to do their JOB & if they are gonna be late, to at least let me know instead of having me wait in front of a computer while i have to WORK. They told me they were running late. I asked, 'why didn't u CALL to let me know as i don't have all day to be in the front of a computer waiting'. Nothing relevant to say. They said wait another 20 minutes. I waited a FULL HOUR before I called back again, THEN the DR finally came on. MIND U, I am still at WORK from home & had to give up my lunch time for this disorganization & lack of respect for my time & situation being at WORK but they didn't care. Cause they are backed up, I have to pay for it? Wasted my lunch time & they charged me an OFFICE visit & CO PAY when I never went & my insurance covers telemeds. Their disorganization got me i

More Than a Waste of Time
I would not recommend Dr. Scotch and his practice. My husband scratched the skin in his ear but could hear fine. He was seen by the PA for 4 visits over 2 months before finally calling in Dr. Scotch. My husband’s ear got worse during that time following the PA’s advice. When Dr. Scotch came in, he was unfamiliar with my husband’s case. An audiometry test done early on showed his hearing was affected, but no details were given. Dr. Scotch prescribed a different treatment and wanted my husband to see the PA in a couple of weeks. After our history with the PA, I said we wanted Dr. Scotch. We returned with no change. The next treatment Dr. Scotch prescribed was one my husband had already tried. At that point, we sought a 2nd opinion. The early audiometry test results were explained in detail and a different, and much less costly, treatment prescribed. We switched to this doctor. After a month, another audiometry test showed improvement. Two weeks after that, his hearing had returned.

I took an elderly friend to Scotch institute and was amazed that how much time and patience they took with my friend who's 99 years old she was also amazed at how well they worked with her. If I was to choose a place to go for ears nose and throat this is where I would pick for myself

Doctor is decent - seems knowledgeable but saw me late, rushed through the appointment and connected me with an office staff member who said to call back for my other questions and they never answer. The worst part is the billing. Was told my self-pay cost would be $350. I got coverage right before my appointment and used insurance - After being billed for close to $1200, I had to pay $360 after plan discounts. Seems like every other practice these days that want to nickle and dime you for everything. Want to clean your ears? That'll be $105. Want to look in you nose with an endoscope? That will be $410. Want to to a comprehensive hearing test? That will be $297. Not going to this office again. At least give your patient the time if you are going to bill for 45+ and only see them for 15 minutes.

I had excellent results after my visit with Dr. Bueller. Two previous attempts at a primary Dr. could not remove my deeply embedded ear wax. She removed a pebble like build up almost painlessly, and tested me for a BPPV issue. My hearing is actually improved, and now my symptoms of vertigo are nearly gone! Very friendly staff as well. Glad I found them.

Dr Scotch explained everything he checked and did a very thorough exam. I have been to numerous doctors about my sinus issues and was going to give up but decided that I would try one more time. Turns out all that stupid “post nasal drip” is because I’m apparently allergic to everything that grows outside. But not one single doctor bother to do that simple allergy test so I have suffered needlessly for decades. I had given up on doctors but Dr Scotch has restored my faith that they don’t all just blame everything on age. Now, I feel that I will actually be on a path to recovery.
