Dr. Brett Sleesman, DO

My only complaint was how long it took to be able to see him for my first appointment - several months. But he was great - listened and explained everything. And my follow up appointments were scheduled right then which was nice. I highly recommend him.

The appointment was a yearly follow up. Dr. Sleesman has been my gastroenterologist for some time now. He is an excellent physician. He’s professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Couldn’t ask for more. I’m not going anywhere else for my gastroenterology treatment.

A couple of years ago I was experiencing extreme pain. I contacted Ohio Gastroenterology and met Dr. Brett Sleesman. Dr. Sleesman listened to my symptoms, had the right sense of urgency and discovered and resolved the issue in short order. He communicated with me regularly and even called me on a Sunday to discuss test results and get me through the surgery as expeditiously as possible. I recently saw him for a colonoscopy and as always he and his entire team were kind and efficient. I look forward to working with him for many years to come!

Dr. Sleesman and his team were friendly and knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and well cared for during my visit. The facility itself was clean and efficiently operated. Clearly 5 stars!

The facility was clean and the receptionist very helpful and friendly. Check in was very easy and my appointment was pretty much as scheduled. All of the nursing staff were great. My procedure was done painlessly and fast, thanks to Dr. Sleesman…

I really liked how Dr. Sleesman came in my room to introduce himself before my colonoscopy. He was kind, friendly, explained the procedure, & asked if I had any questions. He also came in after the procedure to go over his findings. Everyone at Ohio Gastro was kind, explained everything, and always asked me if I had any questions or concerns. Thank you all for making a not so pleasant procedure as pleasant as it could be! I will definitely return to Ohio Gastro for my next colonoscopy.

Dr. Sleesman is among several gastro-intestinal physicians with whom I have worked over these past several years. Pointedly, he has provided excellent care in diagnostics and treatment. I am grateful to have worked with a physician with his patience and expertise. I continue to thrive under his care and strongly recommend Dr. Sleesman.

I was not very impressed with the anesthesiologist. He seemed as if he were in a hurry, and that made me feel uncomfortable. The rest of the staff seemed very patient and helpful.

Dr. Sleesman did my colonoscopy. He was aware it was my first one and that I had a colorguard test come back positive. He took his time to explain and reassured me he probably would not find any cancer, only polyps. He was also aware that I was on blood thinners and again explained what he could and could not do because of the blood thinners. He was overall caring and respectful. He did not speak down to me.

I'm very pleased with Dr. Sleesman's care& concern with my care. He takes the time to explain things to me. I'd recomened him to other's for care. he's a very very wonderful Dr.& person.His staff is pretty amazing also.

I had never met Dr. Sleezman before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was very pleased. He is a very professional and yet friendly person. He took time to ask the proper questions to determine if his services what I need and then explained why he felt they were necessary. I live in Pickerington but saw him at the Olentangy River Rd office but when it came time to schedule testing he was the one that brought up the fact that he could do it in Pickerington instead of automatically scheduling it at the office we were at. Even though it means I have to wait longer for the tests I really appreciated his offering to do it out here so we don’t have to drive so far. I know that I will be comfortable having him do the tests and with his diagnosis and would definitely recommend him to other people.

Dr. Sleesman has done multiple endoscopies for me. He is very pleasant, keeps me informed and comfortable. I have come out of the procedures feeling fine and leaving with helpful written results. Follow up is prompt, and includes a phone check in and a written lab report.

Dr. Sleesman came in the room several times to talk to me. Was very professional and I felt comfortable the short amount of time he was with me. My experience was positive.

First meeting with Dr. Sleesman. Very empathetic, understood my concerns and took them into consideration. Spent a good amount of time discussing the issues and included me in the decisions.

Was only there for a short time for my procedure & can't really have an opinion but he was pleasant and friendly the short time I saw him.

Dr. Sleesman is always very knowledgable and compassionate during my appointments. He takes a lot of time to hear my concerns and is very thorough in his follow-up.
