Dr. Brian Allen, MD

I’ve been Dr Allen’s patient since he arrived in Tallahassee, which was 2015 or 2016. Anyway, there’s not a better doctor nor assistants for a team than this group. I moved back to Ponte Vedra Beach in 2022 & tried a couple doctors in my area, but none met the standard to which I had grown accustomed. Dr Allen, his nursing group like the head nurse Kim, & the front desk are like a family. Now I drive 6 hours round trip when it’s checkup time & know I’ll get the attention a patient deserves.

It took about 5 months of waiting to get an appointment with Dr Allen as a new patient. But it worth the wait. Dr. Allen is very attentive, listens to all my issues and provides the most comprehensive treatment plan. Every time I leave the office I have no answered questions. The staff is always helpful, polite and accommodating… I consider myself lucky to be patient of Dr Allen.

He listens and answers questions and is very medically knowledgeable. He’s is also personable and professional and shows concern for my health.

Dr Allen continues to display everything a doctor should offer his patients from his knowledge to his caring personality. I am grateful to have him in my corner.

I’ve been going 45 miles out of my way to see Dr Allen it’s worth it,you cannot find a better Doctor in Tallahassee he actually cares about what ails you and is great to give advice on what the problem might be plus he graduated from the University of Kentucky (go big blue) I’ve been seeing him for about 4 years now and I have no complaints about him. He has a great sense of humor also

He is one of the most personable and kind doctors I have had since moving from California. He will listen to what you have to say as long as you are honest. I appreciate his bluntness. The staff are kind as well and willing to help you as long as you are trying to help yourself.

Dr Allen is one of the last doctors left who take the time to talk to you and get to know you. You never feel rushed. His office is well run. Kim who has been there since the office opened adds to the great experience.

Usually on time with appointments. Staff is very friendly and will answer questions. Dr. Allen listens and takes his time with you.

I have been seeing Dr. Allen for 4 years. I had a major health problem when I first started seeing Dr. Allen and he made sure I saw a specialist that week. Doesn't talk down to you, overall nice guy.

Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Allen takes time to explain your condition and answer any questions. He is very professional and I consider him to be a very good doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bryan Allen MD,..nice chap..seems to know what he is doing.......good bed side manner seldom found in today''s M.D,''s............does not load you up with specialists appointments for every ache and pain...........highly recommend him!

Had a recent occasion to use the services of Doctor Brian Allen and was very pleased with the overall experience. The front desk receptionist was friendly, helpful and professional as was the nurse who took care of the preliminaries. I found Dr. Allen to be very friendly, professional And thorough. My husband and I recently went for our new patient appointment with Dr. Allen. We loved him and his staff. They are all so friendly. Dr. Allen's bedside manner is excellent and he clearly is well-versed in general medicine. We would highly recommend him.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Brian Allen for his physical for the past two years. I was initially pleased with him; as he is very nice. However after explaining my husband's family history during our last visit and how both of his parents had heart attacks before the age of 50, and his father had uncontrollable type 2 diabetes since his 40's and has since passed away; I do not believe he takes his patients health seriously. My husband; 50 in August has triglycerides of 780, fasting blood sugar of 180-200 and cholesterol over 240. Which Dr Allen had ordered bloodwork on. I explained to him that my husband's triglycerides were well over 400 back in 2012 & have only increased in spite of losing weight before. Dr. Allen had no issue with my husband's triglycerides being near 800 and offered no medications like metformin or a statins to my husband; who I am now trying to convince that he needs to work on his numbers; which he doesn't understand because his Dr. said everything was "fine".
