Nightmare
I went in for a routine checkup and he talked me into a procedure that he said had no risks,. From the moment I left the office I have had multiple problems and constant pain - styes, redness, blurry vision, swollen red eyelids. He refuses to take responsibility and has still not provided me with the risks given to him from the manufacturer.

Outstanding Eye Doctor!
I first became a patient of Dr. Boxer Wachler 25 years ago when he was Director of the UCLA Laser Refractive Center at the Jules Stein Eye Institute. At the time I had uncorrected 20/200 vision. I flew a corporate aircraft as part of my employment and wanted the best available Doctor to perform my LASIK surgery. Dr. Boxer Wachler did an outstanding job in enabling me to achieve 20/20 vision uncorrected. A great relief after having to wear glasses or contacts for 40 years. In 2023 Dr. Boxer Wachler performed lens replacement on both my eyes with Multifocal intraocular (IOL) lens to correct a cataract condition. Again, the results are great. I have achieved excellent vision and enjoying a bright new world. Much preferable to the sepia haze from my former cataract condition. Dr. Boxer Wachler performed cataract surgery on my wife 8 years ago. She has been thrilled with the results. No more glasses, after wearing glasses or contacts from the age of four. Dr. Brian is an outstanding eye Dr.

Dr. Brian is an incredibly compassionate physician. I am at ease with him performing my ICL surgery, and the results have been transformative since my procedure in June 2023. My vision has been better than it has ever been!

From day one Jen, and Dr. Brian,Where very responsive, from the initial request for documents to the establishment of appointment s and further the surgery.Day of surgery I went in with coke bottle eye glasses to leave with 20/20 vision and in the coming weeks I will end up with 20/15 vision. For someone with sever mysopia and astigmatism, to perfect vision is a relief, and it only is going to get better as the days, weeks, months go by. Thank you to the full house Dr. Brian, and entire Dr boxer wachler team.

Thrilled with Cataract Surgery Experience
I had cataract surgery yesterday and am thrilled with the results and whole experience that I can’t wait to do the other eye in 2 weeks. In less than 24 hours, I am able to see far and near through the Tri-focal lense placed in my eye. I’m told my vision will continue to improve through the healing process. I just love Dr Brian Boxer Wachler and his staff. They made the whole process seamless, calming and answered every question I asked. I never felt anxious during the whole process which is not normal for me. It was well worth the drive from Orange County to Beverly Hills to have Dr Brian do the cataract surgery on my one eye and soon to complete the surgery on my other eye. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Great experience!
I went in to see Dr. Brian for my red eyes. I’ve been an athlete all my life and never worse sunglasses which caused some damage. I went in for a consultation and had the eye whitening procedure the following week. I can safely say it has been a great experience and I’m happy with the results so far. It’s been about a month and all I’ve seen are improvements. Dr.Brian and his team are professionals and I’m happy I made the decision to get this done.

Five stars for a Dr. Brian and his staff and five stars for the Fortified LASIK procedure. I had worn contact lenses for 40 years. My prescription was -6.0. Staff is very professional and took their time explaining the procedure and answering questions fully. It's been three months now and I would say that all of the halos and night vision issues have completely resolved. My vision now is the same as wearing contact lenses.

My eyes look 11 years after eye whitening!
I grew up in Florida and unfortunately never wore sunglasses. Eventually I had ptergium grow on the inner corner of my eyes. There were also ugly brown freckles too. I felt so self conscious since visine stopped working. I would avoid eye contact with other people since I knew they would be looking at my ugly eyes. I tried everything but nothing helped. I did research on treatments and thankfully found Dr Brian. I sent him photos of my eyes and paperwork and he said I looked to be a good candidate. I flew to Beverly Hills but I was nervous. I honestly have never been to a doctor’s office where the staff were so warm and caring. I met Dr Brian and he was so caring and warm too and spent time answering all my questions. I was afraid of anyone touching my eye but I totally trusted him since he’s got an amazing track record and reputation. The procedure was painless and my eyes look amazing!!!!! All my confidence Is back! I can’t thank him and the staff enough now 11 years later!!!

Dr. Brian saved my vision!
After having Holcomb C3-R performed by Dr. Brian and his staff I can truly say they are some of the best professionals I've met in any discipline. The knowledge of the entire staff is very reassuring considering the fact that you don't get a second chance with eye surgery. The staff and environment are very friendly and Dr. Brian is patient when I ask a ton of questions. I'd recommend Boxer Wachler Vision Institute to anyone facing keratoconus or laser surgery for sure.

Professional staff, environment, and most importantly doctor. Went in for the Whiter Eyes procedure and was taken care of from the moment I walked in until the second I left. Best in the business. Easy, painless, quick procedure with instant, jaw dropping results. Redness (healing of membrane worked on) was gone after 2 months. Highly recommend!

Dr. Brian and his team are incredible. I was extremely nervous about doing The WhiterEyes surgery. The team from check in to check out takes time to know you, educate you on what kind of testing they are doing and why. I got approved for the WhiterEyes procedure and had no idea how much this would change my life. The procedure is smooth, easy, quick and painless. The payment process is just as seamless with so many affordable options. Shoutout to Dr. Brian for changing my life. Thank you to the whole team, you guys are amazing!

This was a terrible experience. Boxer Wachler's I-Brite surgery left me with delayed manifestation of bilateral scleral thinning, calcium deposits, and dry eye. All are known complications from his I-Brite surgery. Boxer Wachler said he could scrape away the calcium but it left me with black divets on my eyes which he painted with a white dye and sent me on my way. He also dug so deep into my eye to dig out the calcium he cut a nerve in the corner of my eye which left me in constant pain.

Permanently ruined my eyes with I-Brite eye whitening surgery. Doesn’t care about patients. Was in a lot of pain and reached out to office to ask about my eyes and was ignored. This doctor only cares about making money and trying to be famous on Tik-Toc and Instagram. So sad. If anyone is reading this and thinking about getting I-Brite eye whitening surgery, PLEASE DO NOT do it. It will be a decision you regret the rest of your life. I read reviews about this procedure and had thought about getting it done for years, I finally went through with it and it has ruined my life. I wish I could go back and not do this. You are on your own when complications occur-and yes, they WILL occur. More than 80% of people have serious complications. Please save your eyes and don’t do this surgery! I have never written any reviews online for doctors, restaurants, etc. I am taking the time to write this review to help as many people as I can to not do this surgery.

He ruined my daughters vision and caused her severe mental distress. He doesn't care about patients and is simply in it for the money. Look him up on the court website to see how many times he has been sued. Once or twice is considered normal but he has been sued countless times even by his employees. It's a salespitch where he gives a facade of being an expert but in reality, he is below average but charges exorbitant fees to make it seem like he is popular. You have been warned.

I went back for a 2nd C3R because I was told by my eye Dr here that my Karataconis was still progressing. Dr Boxer-Wachler basically blew me off & told me it wasn’t necessary but he “would do it anyway because I traveled so far”. Now I am being told that my Kerataconis is still progressing. HIS PROCEDURE DOES NOT WORK & I wasted 11 years because of his arrogance.

Horrible doctor who only cares about your $$. False promises and high sales pitch with horrible results. Dr. Brian pretends to care as he has a calm voice. Don't be deceived. He is just trying to persuade you during a low point in your life, to let him operate and charge you tens of thousands of dollars for procedures that any ophthalmologist can do much better than him and for much less cost. He takes advantage of keratoconus patients who he knows are upset about their vision struggles by promising them a "cure" when in reality he delivers far below that. Most patients are ashamed they get taken advantage of so they dont review. If you are still not convinced, get 2 or 3 opinions and compare it to the advice Dr. Brian gives you and you'll see that he doesn't know what he's doing.

One of the WORST doctors I've been to. His C3R did not work and my keratoconus began progressing a few years after it was done. He doesn't use medical equipment and his epi-off success rate is exaggerated because he markets heavily. He doesn't follow up with a lot of his patients and a lot do not return after their procedures yet he considers it a success. That shows how untrustworthy he is. You have been warned. There's a reason insurance doesn't cover this quack.
