Dr. Brian Callihan, MD

I've seen a lot doctors over the last 50 years and he is one of the best.

Listened and answered my concerns. Staff friendly and professional.

I am very pleased with Dr. Callihan. He was not only personable but also took the time to answer all my questions in a thorough and understandable manner. He made feel completely at ease and I highly recommend him. His nurse was very friendly as well which is a huge plus.

Dr Callihan listens to concerns, includes me in decisions making about my health, offers options, is compassionate, and genuinely care about my health and my quality of life as I believe he does his own family members. It is very difficult to find such a talent and expertise as his.

My initial visit with Dr. Callihan went really well. He was attentive and thorough. Since then he treats me like an inconvenience, seems to be in a bad mood and can't wait to end our visit. I've never seen him smile or exhibit any kind of compassion. He's stoic, at best. Although he seems knowledgeable, I hesitate to make another appointment with him because of his (lack of) response to me. I'm in the process of finding a caring physician to replace him.

I am a new patient of Dr. Calahans. I found him to be very personable, took his time to properly diagnose the problem. I will definitely be seeing him in the future.

I had my first appointment today 12-7-22 and I was very happy , he listened to my concerns, and I really felt that he truly cares, he was very professional, and he made the necessary changes that I need, I am leaving here feeling that all my concerns were met, on another note, I told Dr. Callihan to update his picture on line because he looks totally different , but in a good way?? I would definitely recommend Dr. Callihan to my friends and family Dr. Callihan you Rock!!!

He diagnosed my illness and gave me instructions on taking medicine until I improved. I think the best thing about Dr. Callihan is he listens to his patients and understands how we are feeling. He is a very caring person and treats his patients like you are family.

We had a very interesting interview about my health. One of the items, which I wanted for sleep, he prescribed a drug which is not habit forming for sleep, and it truly works! Thank you, Dr Callilan for the nonhabit forming drug you gave me for sleep.

A great experience for my first time. I was immediately checked in upon arrival. Dr. Brian Callihan and the medical staff was awesome from start to finish. I really appreciated Dr. Callihan for taking time to go over my health issues and clearly explaining my treatment options. He didn't rush the appointment and asked if I had questions. I walked away knowing that I was heard and that Dr. Callihan is truly taking care his patients health and wellness.

I found Dr Callihan to be thorough, effective, and quick. He listened to me, and was very caring. He addressed the issues I have, and ordered tests that I needed right then and there. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a good doctor.

Dr. Callihan is easily the best PCP I've had in a number of years. I have been a patient of his for nearly two years, and have been consistently impressed with his familiarity with my medical record at each visit, his willingness to engage in useful dialog concerning medical conditions and options, and the quality of his recommendations. I consider him to be in the very top tier of Ochsner PCP's that I have used for over 30 years. Highly recommended.

Dr. Callihan is one of the few doctors that will even discuss holistic medial treatments. While Ochsner is evaluating this field in some areas, it will be a long time before they probably adopt any of these methods. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Callihan is very easy to talk to and he explains so I know what he is talking about. He will do what it takes to help you feel better. He will call you and check up on you. His concern and knowledge is outstanding. I would refer him to anyone.
