knowledgeable and caring
As a doctor myself (but in a very different field) I sometimes have troubles navigating health care as a patient and doctor. Dr. Cooper and the nurses at Mid Iowa are really phenomenal at their jobs. I have felt nothing but compassion and respect since becoming a patient there. This group is very knowledgeable and efficient - which is important when you are trying to balance frequent appointments with a career - but they also take the time to answer questions and discuss when needed. The entire team is incredibly skilled and I have never felt anything other than confidence in them.

Dr. Cooper was very informative in discussing my open myomectomy to remove my large uterine fibroid. He really impressed me before, during and especially after surgery. He went above and beyond checking in on me twice after surgery in person and then again by phone several times to ensure I was doing well. I've never had a doctor take as much time and care for me as a patient as Dr. Cooper did. I am not sure if I will ever need his expertise again, but I definitely highly recommend him.

Dr. Cooper is always willing to spend ample amount of time answering my husbands and my questions. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I have gone to. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything is laymen's terms which you all know is hard to find a doctor that does that. Dr. Cooper is willing to take things at the patience pace and is one of our biggest cheerleaders while going through fertility treatments. What a little gem Dr. Copper is to Des Moines and my family. We love him!
