Some symptoms I had been exhibiting and my mother previously having been diagnosed with it led me to suspect I might have hypothyroidism. Dr. Fertig said I was wise to see him with my suspicions and completely put my mind at ease relative to the condition and how to manage it.

The main reason I left my last doctor was that I felt she had almost as much interest in what was going on outside the window or was perhaps thinking ahead to the plans she had for the upcoming weekend. You get the picture. I never felt she was truly focusing on me. On the other hand, Dr. Fertig embodies attentiveness.

When we first learned our son was diabetic, we knew nothing about the condition. Googling and reading anything available did not turn out to be the education we needed. The amount of false and conflicting information out there abound. Here with Dr. Fertig we found the knowledge we needed to take care of our boy in the best way possible.

I would come in for an appointment thinking there was nothing I needed to talk about or change on my pump and Dr. Fertig would go through my charts and pump data slowly and find some changes and give me at home tasks to do if my numbers still weren't where I wanted them. So attentive!

For three years now I have been seeing Dr. Fertig to treat my hypothyroidism and he is incredibly thorough, much compassionate, and greatly dedicated. Before a diagnosis, he examines all the other potential disorders it could be.

Finally, a doctor was able to help me get my diabetes under control. My last doctor was treating me for years and it was so out of control. However, Dr. Fertig knew exactly what to do to get me where I needed to be.

Though the waiting room is never empty I must admit I never have any difficulty scheduling an appointment that fits into my schedule conveniently. I don’t really mind a bit of a wait as long as I’m not trying to be shoehorned into a time slot or a day that doesn’t work for me.

I’ll come right out and bluntly say that I did not trust the decisions that my former endocrinologist was making regarding my health. This led me into a search for a replacement. It was through research and maybe a bit of luck that I landed at the office of Brian J. Fertig. Here I feel completely comfortable with the decisions he has made for me thus far.

For about a year now, we have been going to Dr. Fertig. He has been amazing! My kids love him, and he has done several small procedures for me. Not only has he been a wonderful overall physician, but he has really made a huge improvement in my knee and hip pain.

This doctor is great. I met him when I was transferred to his practice. He was able to answer all my questions and made sure to refill all my prescriptions and wrote out the needed referrals. Dr. Fertig is very real and easy to talk to.

I am both the transportation and the companion for my elderly father on his appointments with Dr. Fertig. I have been to the office with my father multiple times and we are both consistently treated with care, my father as the patient and myself as his concerned child.

He seems like a good Dr, but, not worth a 4 hour wait. The nurse told me everyone waits 3-4 hours to see him. 2 people were actually snoring in the waiting room. When I told him I don’t have 4 hours to wait to see him he laughed and said take the day off from work! Is he kidding? He may be a very good Dr but I’ll never find out because I won’t be going back.

Dr Fertig takes the time to ask you all that he needs to instead of processing you and pushing you out the door. The result? My insulin resistance and my cystic ovarian syndrome have been completely reversed and I have been free from meds for 10 years now. At times the wait was 3 or more hours. Once they felt bad and gave me food due to the long wait. They need to space out patient appointments better! To see Dr. Fertig, you need to request him or you will see Dr Kanj who is also nice.

You never get to see Dr. Fertig, and he kept pushing his books or whatever. The wait is totally unacceptable. 3 hours....REALLY? I went one last time to get my prescriptions refilled, and am going to find a different Dr. The staff sucks.

I knew when I went to see Dr. Brian Fertig, that there might be a long wait before I was able to get into see him. However, when did you ever go to any doctor and not have to wait in the waiting room? It is a long wait to ask for - and I do wish he could be quicker - but it was well worth the wait. Dr. Fertig was courteous, kind and answered all my questions.
