Dr. Gross botched a laser procedure to repair my torn retina. After several laser zaps into my eye, Dr. Gross turned off the machine and announced that he was abandoning the procedure and that he hadn't used the equipment in a long time. He sent me home only to call me an hour later and say I should go to see a retinal expert 2 hours away in Bakersfield that same afternoon to complete the procedure. Clearly, Dr. Gross should have referred me to a qualified specialist in the first place.
