Dr. Brian Haft, MD

I called his office to schedule an emergency eye appointment. I was told 'NO he is not available till the end of the month'. I asked, can I be put in a cancelations list? 'NO we don't do that' I explained my symptoms that sound like a retina detachment. She did not care at all. I have been a patient of his for 20 years. The horrible front desk has always been horrible, but I never cared too much because I only go to him for contact lenses and regular eye exams. I called Mittleman eye centers, and they got me in same day and were terrific.

Dr. Haft was extremely competent and could not have been nicer. He answered all of my questions and gave extremely informative results on my testing. IMHO you can not fine a nicer and more competent ophthalmologist than Dr. Haft. He gets the highest rating possible from me.

Had an eye infection and Dr Haft examined my eye conducting various testing. He is professional and focused on the situation at hand. He is not there to conduct random conversations. Would highly recommend his office.

I came to change my prescription because my contacts we’re to weak and my glasses were to strong but he treated us terribly on top of that he REFUSED to change any of my prescriptions and told me I was wrong. Also he treated my mother terribly

My husband and I have patient's of Dr. Brian Haft for 8 years. He is a professional and competent Opthalmologist. He is very direct and explains what the issues are and how to resolve them. I have referred a number of friends to him which have been very pleased. I find the staff to be friendly, helpful and have answered all my questions. I recently had cataract surgery which went very well. You are in good hands with him. Barbara Young

Lack of attention and support from the staff and doctor!

highly recommend Dr. Haft. I find him to be highly competent and professional.

Building outside filthy. Office dirty as well. Doctor unfriendly and not professional. Does not care if you have disabilities. He does not wash his hands. Staff touches you without permission. Not talking the eyes. Refuses to treat you if you disagree with him.

"Do you bite your dentist?", the doctor asked, "because you sure blinked for me enough". It was an astounding statement. He wants to make sure I know he blames me for making his afternoon more difficult, and he's comparing the act of biting another person to blinking. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. The entire ten minutes I spent with him, he was impatient with me. My feelings, or my comfort, or my day, were of no consequence to him. I felt angry and humiliated.

I would highly recommend Dr. Haft. I find him to be highly competent and professional.
