Dr. Brian Kolender, MD

Dr. Kolender was my physician both before and after he went to a concierge practice (so he could spend even more time with each patient). He was extremely attentive and caring about his patients and spent more time with me per visit than any other doctor or specialist I’ve had and seems to do more research than the vast majority of other MDs about maladies including COVID, etc. If you want to find out more about him, his practice or just get some medical advice he also hosts a radio information / call-in program on 760am (WJR). Highly recommend!

Dr. Kolender is trustworthy, open minded, caring, and listens to your concerns. Always willing to work with you. I never feel rushed or ignored. Always available if there is something of great concern, will see you quickly.

Dr. Kolender is a great listener. His goal is to prevent and promote. He discusses w you an optimal plan for your health considering the risks your present health may encompass now or in the future. He is a lifetime learner. Dr. K takes classes to keep abreast of newer ways to promote Vascular Health. He's extremely interested in checking for inflamation in our heart and keeping our arteries reduced w inflammation. We discuss exercise and nutrition. I give him an A+.

Would not listen to my knowledge of my medical history over 30 years. Took me off a medication I had been on for 10 years because "he didn't like it", and my health crashed. Two years later I'm still trying to recover from is substandard care. I failed numerous complaints with mdvip and they finally agreed and compensated me for the annual fee as they agreed I did not get the quality of care they guarantee

Not good at listening. Talks too much about himself and his problems. Also he schedules more tests for a physical than any other doctor I've ever seen. I asked him why I needed all those procedures. He had no explanation. I declined.

Wonderful, caring physicion!! Has all the right contacts if you need specialist assistance. Cares about your basic health as much as any concerns you might have. Recommends all kinds of ways to stay physically fit and eat healthy. He has saved my friend's life by taking her as a patient and realizing immediately what her emergency situation was, even though she was not aware. He followed up with my specialists and intervened when they weren't on top of things.

He is a very intuitive, caring doctor who takes as much time as is needed each visit.

Dr. K as we call him has taken care of our family for over 20 years. His ability to listen helps his decision process to maximize the correct treatment and results. His availability during and after his work week is a true benefit. The referral of specialist in other fields has been paramount to our family and friends. So we have been blessed to have him as our doctor and a friend

Don’t waste your money with him, he convinced me and my friend to use stem cells on our knees, we both didn’t see improvement, his product are cheap, i even texted him if he can help us or do something about it but he didn’t care, i guess he cares about money more than his Reputation

I belong to MD-VIP and chose Dr. Kolender as my physician based on colleague recommendations. The only less than perfect thing is the Detroit office's decor and furnishings. Seriously, who says that about a doctor? This is fantastic! I get to see him right away, ~he~ responds to calls and texts within a few hours (except when he's on vacation), and always (always always) listens first, pulls all the pieces together, and then brainstorms an assessment and/or treatment plan ~with~ me.
