Doctor visit after hospital release
We went to see Dr Kumasaka for a rare skin disease called DRESS. He pretended he knew what he was doing. He caused my husband a horrible relapse. This doctor is so prideful and did not even do his homework, like reading medical journal. When I asked if he's treated someone with this condition, he was not truthful. He even told us to stop reading and researching. He was not compassionate with bad bedside manner. If you have a serious condition, go somewhere else. I'm so glad we found a more experienced and compassionate dermatologist

Would not recommend Dr. Brian Kumasaka, unless you do not mind waiting in a room (with provided gown on in a cold room) for over 35mins with him STILL not showing up. I just left! I WILL NEVER RETURN!

I suggest you go elsewhere if you have an urgent condition. I tried to get in for what I suspect is skin cancer and was given an appointment over 3 months out. I went elsewhere as I felt that was too long to wait to be seen. I had a biopsy done today at another office.

Dr Brian Kumasaka and staff at Southlake Clinic is not accommodating, went there for consultation and waited more than 30 minutes, when Dr Kumasaka finally showed up, it only took him less than 5 minutes to see him, appears to be rushing because he didn't take time to listen or look at the skin pigmentation, instead he just assumed that what I suspect my theory of my skin pigmentation. He didn't suggest to do more tests. He did cryotherapy but it did not work at all, as he claimed to be.
