Dr. Brian McCrary, DO

had an appointment for an IME, it went well and smoothly. no problems, he was thorough and professional. Staff were nice and place was clean. Asked the right questions and examined me thoroughly. I have no complaints and it went much better than other places I've had to go.

Had an IME with this doctor in January of 2024 via my LTD insurance company. He wrote in his report false dates of medical history and false facts during my 12 minute visit with him. These determinations of his lead to my long term disability benefits being discontinued. I appealed his findings and he tried to explain away my complaints. He certainly takes great offense in being called out for mistakes and wouldn't be at all surprised if he comments to this review. I have no idea why he would report such false statements regarding my visit. Best of luck if you are assigned to him.

My wife was referred to this doctor for a so-called “Independent Medical Exam” as part of a disability claim. The setting for the exam was in a physical therapy clinic in an open treatment area with no regard for HIPAA privacy. The exam lasted about 30 minutes. When my wife received the copy of the doctor’s report that was sent to her treating physician for a written response, the report was full of statements and behavior attributed to my wife that was highly inaccurate. One would expect a doctor in this position to conclude on behalf of the insurance company that is paying him, but you would hope that at least the reported information is documented accurately. It is sad when a doctor, who takes an oath to do no harm, functions in a capacity which results in undue stress and anxiety.

I was feeling a bit uneasy from previous doctors I had visited in the past but after my visit with Dr. McCrary I felt much better. He was very thorough with me and explained what I was able to do in the future. I appreciate the care he has given me.

Dr. McCrary is very meticulous and thorough. He did explain to me what’s my symptoms and how I can improve on my condition. He was very professional and attentive. He is also very fair and impartial. I would recommend him if you like to get honest opinions.

Great doc, very proactive and takes my concerns seriously. Very knowledgable and compassionate.

Dr. McCrary performed a my rating and in the "Discussion" section of my rating, he stated, "He has intermittent subjective radicular complaints with no objective signs of radiculopathy in the medical records." This was an extremely false statement as several doctors that examined me prior to Dr. McCrary's examination; stated that in my record that I have radiculopathy. I would not trust this doctor.
