While the wait wasn’t long at all. I’d rather wait hours at another allergist office if it meant not being made fun of, talked down to and not being taken seriously. What Doctor tells someone without testing them that they aren’t allergic to anything. That aliens came and pretty much put something in my food to insult my immune system and caused my allergy attacks. Not only said it once but twice. Then touched my face without gloves. Told me it was a waste of time to do any allergy test. That I’m not allergic to any medicine even though it made my attack worse. To stop telling doctors I’m allergic to pizza even though that caused my first attack. He shouldn’t be talking to people the way he did today. Very very unhappy about the visit. Wasted my travel time and copay and I still have no answers after 3 years of being scared to eat certain foods. Oh and interrupted me multiple times. Didn’t care about my concerns not one bit.

Dr. Novick was the only doctor who was able to bring my peak flow number from 250 up to 450, and without oral steroids. I had been battling asthma post 9/11 and had seen both an allergist and two pulmonologists. My PCP recommended Dr. Novick. Now, for over two years I have not had to take an oral steroid to control my asthma symptoms. I can workout at 80% of my heart rate, too. His staff is terrific too. I see him regularly for shots and the nurses give them virtually pain free.

I would not recommend this office both in Queens and Long Island and both places and un helpful. I received allergy shots for about five months and for five months my allergies have not gotten better . I asked one of the nurseS I haven't I gotten better with my allergies and she stated sometimes it just takes a while . I recently moved to another state and I'm receiving a new allergy shots and now I'm on my third dose and I can breathe much better and I'm not blowing my nose as much or at all
