Dr Owens is most professional and very knowledgeable! I am most comfortable with him as a pain Dr especially since he is an anesthesiologist. The combination is perfect. He explains every step and never seems in a hurry. Highly recommend him!

WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM
I saw Dr Owens for several years with no problem. In 2019, I started using a private medical group, great docs, just not set up to handle chronic folks, back to Dr Owens. When I called for an appt, I was accused of being a drug addict. They said I'd need to do 60-90 days of rehab- for a pain patch Dr Owens originally prescribed. When they realized the mistake, they did book me for an appt. I waited an hour, after an hour I asked a nurse how much longer it would be, Dr Owens was just chatting with a colleague in the break room, the whole hour. The room they put me in was directly across the hall from the break room. Dr Owens breezes in, spouts of for 15 min how the DEA has changed laws and that's why I was assumed to be an addict. He said the break in my care was a red flag. So I asked "if I leave and come back, I'm assumed to be a drug addict?" It's what happened! He literally, stood up, said "BYE" and walked out. Not professional. Not how a doctor should behave.

From the start of my pain, Dr. Owens and his staff were very helpful. They were able to get me in to see him very quickly, and welcomed me with warm smiles. Dr. Owens examined me and explained in detail what he believed the problem to be. He performed the procedure that day and walked me through each step. When my pain returned this year, he and his staff have been absolutely wonderful in helping me through everything.
