For the first few months, he was great! Now...I'm looking for a referral elsewhere. I've been on a certain medication for the last 5 years and it worked great. Now in the last year or so, since starting other medications that make said medication work less effectively, it doesn't seem to work at all. I talked to my neurologist. I talked to my PCP. I talked to my Therapist. ALL agreed that asking for a 5mg increase, to see if that helped, was perfectly reasonable! So I did. And Dr. Paul is refusing. His reasons? "You dont work and you dont go to school. So you dont need it" So I am less entitled to care than someone who goes to work?? NONE of it makes sense. So far, he has yet to call me himself. I just get calls from nurses instead. I'm beyond annoyed at this point. I've called over 4x to try and talk to him about this, but he refuses to budge at all. He doesn't take my calls and he doesn't want to negotiate or even talk about it. So I'm done.

He was unprofessional and a very mean doctor. He treated me disrespectfully and ignored me for 50 minutes, didn't respond to his phone when the secretary was trying to reach him. He showed up to meet another patient after 50 minutes, looked at me and said in a very dry way that he can't see me because I was late. It was a punishment! I am very surprised of this horrible, unprofessional doctor which DHMC has.
