Dr. Brian Prebil, DO

I had right inguinal hernia surgery yesterday (Friday October 25, 2024). It was laparoscopic TAPP robotic-assisted inguinal hernia surgery with Phasix mesh.It’s 24 hours later now and I feel great. I have no general pain and only some dull tugging feelings in the mesh area when I bend over or make certain other moves. I am back to walking normal.I am doing so much better than I thought I would be at this point based on the research I did.I highly recommend this type of surgery and Dr Prebil. I had a very good initial consultation with Dr Prebil and then on surgery days the hospital staff (Banner Thunderbird Medical Center) and Dr Prebil were great. I am an active 67 year old male and looking forward to getting back to my mountain biking and my other exercise routines.

I had surgery about two years ago. 90% of my stomach was above the diaphragm. Great result!

Seemed like he was rushed when he discussed my hernia surgery. I scheduled an appointment with his staff for the surgery. Two days later his staff called me and told I would have to reschedule because DO Prebil outdoor be out of town on the date his staff scheduled my surgery. Very unprofessional. I met with a MD and had the hernia surgery and I’m very happy. Definitely would NOT recommend DO Prebil

He was very sweet and understanding. He took care of all my needs and made sure I felt calm, safe, and I understood everything that was going on. He was really funny and I loved his sense of humor. If I had the money to hire him as a personal surgeon I would LMAO. He never made me feel uncomfortable even while being exposed and he would cover me up to make me feel comfortable.

Dr. Prebil has successfully performed MALS surgery on me plus a multitude of others, including J-tube feeding tubes and several different abdominal repairs. For me this man walks on water! He is so thorough and listens to me every single time I talk. He hears me out at every appointment and takes the time that I need. There’s no gaslighting with this man he is amazing

He is an amazing doctor. There is a fantastic team front and back office. I’ve had two surgeries with Dr. Prebil and so far so good they have been within the last three months first was a gallbladder. The other one six days ago was the hiatal hernia with fundoplication, I want to thank them for being so attentive and caring it gave me hope that I’ll be able to eat normally in the future.

So far so good. Dr Prebil performed a robotic hernia repair on me 5 days ago. Feel pretty good and moving around with limited discomfort. Staff at St Joseph Westgate was awesome.

Dr Prebil is nothing more than a glorified butcher! We gave him every opportunity to correct his mistakes and find solutions. Provides no answers and aftercare is nonexistent. Good luck!

Dr. Prebil saved my life when I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in March of 2016 at age 49. I was gravely ill. I'm still here today, thanks to God, Dr. Prebil, and a couple of other wonderful specialists. My family and I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dr. Prebil. The positive words he spoke to me when I was at my lowest in the hospital are forever etched in my brain and have kept me going.

Dr.Prebil removed my gallbladder last week. Awesome job and a super staff at St.Joseph's Westgate. He is such a kind and caring doctor. I love his sense of humor.

Dr. Prebil operated on me in 2017 for an issue with my celiac artery. Surgery went great and so did recovery. I received great care from Dr. Prebil before and after my surgery. He has an awesome bedside manner! Next week Dr. Prebil will be operating on me again for something else but I know I have the best doctor for the job. I would highly recommend Dr. Prebil.

Absolutely love Dr Prebil. I am the third family member he has treated. He and him staff are so caring!

Dr. Brian Prebil is the only surgeon I have found after five (5) consultations in The Valley who not only does more DaVinci robotic hernia repairs than anyone else here, but in certain cases he is willing to do them without mesh. Even the mesh he does use is not polypropelyne (that’s a good thing) and it dissipates away in 2 years. His staff is on point and friendly. Just don’t let the unassuming waiting room fool you.
