Dr Rinker performed my Diep Flap procedure in 2023 and nipple areola reconstruction and scar revisions in 2024. I’m very satisfied with the results and strongly recommend him.

Excellent Results on Breast Surgery
Dr Rinker did a breast flat closure after mastectomy/explant. The outcome was better than I expected. He removed all excess skin and the end result was a smooth flat closure. I highly recommend him.

Desk staff are not trained correctly
I have no issues with what he did. My issue is that I was not scheduled correctly and my $100 consult payment wasn't taken and applied correctly. I showed up to my appointment a month later to be told it wasn't scheduled correctly and I couldn't be seen. When I complained I was told he doesn't usually schedule procedures. I scheduled and paid for my consult under the pretext that the $100 consult fee comes off the cost of the procedure. I was billed the full amount after the procedure. I requested to contest the amount because the $100 consult fee was not deducted. It was denied. I called and they gave me the phone number to his assistant. I leave a voice mail everyday but no one returns my call. If an employee is not capable of scheduling amd applying payme to correctly try they need to be trained or shouldn't be attempting to do it.

Zero bedside manner. Rude, disrespectful, bothered, hurtful, and worst of all, left me more scarred then before after a nipple reconstruction. I went to the Mayo Clinic thinking they were the best. Dr. Rinker is a poor representation of that organization. It is time for him to retire because he is clearly overwhelmed and he refused to help me in an already difficult situation.

Dr. Rinker performed DIEP flap reconstructive surgery of both breasts and follow-up reconstructive procedures. Beautiful results. Could not be more pleased. Doctor and his entire team are extremely responsive and compassionate. I am shocked to see negative reviews for this talented surgeon. I would highly recommend this physician. He is as kind as he is talented.

I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction by a tummy tuck. My breast are uneven. 1 is bigger than the other. 2 sizes bigger than I had asked for. When someone has NO CHOICE about having surgery, they expect to come out feeling better about their self. I've regretted letting him touch me. Not only did breast cancer devastate my life, Dr Rinker destroyed it. If I could give a negative score, I would.

In my opinion, Dr Rinker has the spine of a jellyfish and will not be his patient's advocate. He is not too different from many doctors who will side with their colleagues over patients who have obviously been harmed by the medical industry. There is an epidemic of cowardice among doctors, and Dr. Rinker is near the front of the line. It is my opinion that patients should pass this doctor by and keep searching for one who will show strength of character & integrity, even when it is difficult.
