Dr. Brigitte Bekan-Homawoo, MD

Dr. does not touch you and refers out for everything. Actually used Google in front of patient when asked a question. I do not pay a co-pay to see a Dr use Google. I can do that at home for free. She also put false diagnosis in both my, and my spouses charts. When asked about this she said that's how she gets insurance to pay for tests. Tests that are not needed. Very poor care. After she received tests from an Emergency Dept. visit she told us to follow up with ordering physician. Really? Follow up with an ER doctor. Such inadequate care. Very disappointed.

I had a wonderful encounter with Dr. Bekan just last week. when I spiked a blood pressure reading without knowing anything was wrong. I was asymptomatic. We had a 15 min discussion during which Br Bekan seemed abnormally compassionate and merciful, then she let her fingers do the walking on that computer of hers, and she had a treatment plan that worked out great for me in about 2 min. I'm due to go back and see her in July to chart a course for the future and I'm looking forward to it. She is a genuine 5 star American Doctor.

My partner and I recently chose Dr. Bekan-Homawoo as our primary care physician. So far we've been incredibly impressed with her knowledgeability and expertise. She always asks the right questions and explains the treatment plan in a way we can understand. She also gives practical advice to compliment a prescription treatment plan. She's also very personable. We would highly recommend her to those looking for a doctor in Saratoga Springs.

I have never had a doctor I trust like Dr Bekan to have an open conversation with me about past, current, and future treatments. She doesn't like to simply mask an issue, she really likes to understand me as a patient and my medical history, far deeper than what my paper file may say, to paint a clear picture of what my needs may be.
