A Great Doctor
Telehealth
I can understand the frustration of reviewers here who are concerned about Centerstone, but not Dr. Hollett. Most psychiatrists are way out of touch but this is a caring individual who treats you with respect and ensures that your meds are working. He actually listens to what you have to say. I wish that more doctors of all sorts were like him.

Dr. Hollett utilizes telehealth appointments which makes my son feel so much more at ease to be able to sit in the living room or even alone in his bedroom talking to his Dr instead of a sterile Dr's office where he feels everyone he sees is wondering what is wrong with him. Dr Hollett himself is genuine and so easy to talk to. My son likes him and feels at ease when talking to him. Dr Hollett discusses a medical plan and encourages input from us even when it comes down to medication changes.

Poor bedside manner: he was eating while we had our Zoom visit, seemed absent minded, did not read my chart, was dismissive of my concerns and did not prescribe enough medication to pull me through to the next visit. An all around poor experience to say the least that left me feeling worse than before we talked.

Dr Hollett is more about his "success" rate than he is about you as a patient. Once he prescribes a medication that works (marginally) he proclaimed me healed. The word healed isn't even applicable in mental health, specifically with depression. The turn over of his nurses (or any MCR staff) is deplorable. There's no continuity and EVERYONE is treated as if they're drug seeking. I WOULD NOT recommend Dr Hollett or MCR for behavioral health. That says volumes as I've been in treatment for 30+ years

Dr. Hollett is very compassionate and kind and knowledgeable - he understands the medicines he prescribes and the others that the GP and Cardiologist prescribe. I think he's great!

Centerstone's staff is horrible- I had originally scheduled an appointment with a Dr. who left the practice, which is fine, but the next available appointment was given months out. That appointment was scheduled with Dr. Hollett, but I didn't received the Zoom link for the appointment, so I called the practice. They ran my old insurance card, discovered that it was no longer active (I had provided my new one already) and cancelled the appointment. No one ever called, texted, etc. The next appointment is now three months away! Dr. Hollett is responsible for the behavior of his staff and finance department. This kind of treatment is unacceptable.

Terrible terrible dr. 1 star is too many. Accused me of getting my scripts filled illegally from the pharmacy. This guy is a joke to his profession. Do not waste your time with him or his nurse.

Would never recommend him to anyone. Underpaid and just doesn't care. Argues the medical marijuana abilities and refused to give me a past medication that helped me because I am pro-pot.

Gave me a month worth of scripts with no refill. Gave me a appointment in a month and a week later. I ran out and called my doctors office where they said he will not refill my scripts until he sees me first......in a week. So it’s been all weekend without my psych meds. Some of the meds were new also. So dangerous do go off and on psych meds like that. So thanks dr hollet for making my life worse than it was when I entered your office.

I was fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Halim for 4 years and had been on the same meds for even longer with no problem. I was left without my meds for 3+ weeks due to the incompetence of the MCR staff. Then, Dr. Hollett refused to fill them after leaving me in the waiting room for 2+ hours because my heart rate was slightly elevated. I was extremely frustrated plus in discomfort due to being without my meds. Terrible doctor. Will never go back.

My first visit with him, he and his nurse lied to me about taking a urine sample. The nurse told me it was to check my medication levels. Now I smoked marijuana over the holidays, may have been a bad decision . But that was all he wanted to talk about and never mentioned my medication levels. I was honest with him about it but he put in my records that I was an abuser. He also said I was taking opioids which I would never do. If I can’t trust him he can’t help me.
