Excellent
Surprised by other reviews . Maybe it’s the nature of the American public . I had to see Dr. K and his staff on multiple occasions for glaucoma treatment and sty on eyelid. On all visits I was treated with nothing but professionalism and concern. There were changes during the treatment as things developed and all were handled in a professional manner. I would certainly recommend this doctor and his team.

Do NOT let this man touch your eyes!
I saw Dr K for a stye. First treated with oral and topical antibiotics. After 2 weeks I still had a bump on my eyelid and he insisted my only option was to have it excised. Well, it was the most barbaric thing I’d ever been through. He pushed the lidocaine needle so deep, I actually screamed out , and then he kept going. Something felt very wrong during the whole procedure. I developed an immediate ptosis. My eyelid was dropping and he taped it up saying “I never do this but you seem so upset.” The numbness in my eye lasted for so long. Then my eye began to look almost sunken. I told him this and he said “I can’t imagine anything I did would cause that.” I’ve had severe nerve pain ever since, my eye looks sunken and now I’m developing vision disturbances, peripherally in that eye. I don’t look or feel the same since that day. It’s too late for me, but do your homework before you let a Dr touch your eyes. I wish I could go back in time and undo all of this.

He lies to your face about the procedure he will do. He then makes you feel bad about it if you walk out with bad surgery. He rushes surgery on people’s eyes and doesn’t care about his patients in the slightest. Don’t ever go to this doctor. You will regret it so much. Also, his staff is rude and the waiting room takes an hour every time you go no matter what the appointment is.

Do not get ripped off
I took my mom to Freehold Opthalmology in Brick, NJ on 03/31/22. She ordered eyeglasses and $99.00 was put on her credit card at the time. She died several days later. I cancelled the eyeglass order. She has not rec’d a refund. I’ve made at least 7 or 8 calls to the office and spoke to the person who ordered the glasses for her. All with no results. This is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid Freehold Opthalmology at all costs.
