Unnecessary testing
Lack of professionalism. This doctor misdiagnosed by mother, ran numerous and unnecessary tests. Stay away!

Time to find a new neurologist
I've found Dr. Kole's bedside manner to be lacking. He can be quite dismissive, insulting, and arrogant. Not an office or doctor of the 21st century. The office staff are not professional. Not a single computer visible in Novi office. Novi office has to call Southfield office to schedule appointments. Difficult to enter Novi office when the patient is wheelchair bound as there's no button to help with automatic opening of the door which doesn't make sense with geriatric patient population. Staff also can't help transfer wheelchair-bound patients to chair.

My husband suffered a stroke and this Doctor along with his staff in Novi MI has a serious Lack of Compassion. What Dr thinks a victim of stroke can advocate for himself and leaves the spouse out of every visit. We will be looking for a new neurologist who cares and can communicate!!!!

Itook my 85 yearold mother to him for seizures, he was more interested in checking her nerves in her hands, he told her she had had multiple strokes which she had NOT! according to her MRI at Beaumont hospital and when he did her EMG( which we did not ask for he had the machine turned up so high every time he touched her whole body jumped) and continued this for about 25 mins. it was HORRIBLE! avoid this man at all costs.

With a complex history of neurological conditions I am appalled at the mistreatment I received from this doctor! He did not allow my case manager nor husband in the room, wrote blatant lies on my records (from office visits & hospitalization consults) & grossly misdiagnosed me. His equipment & methods are outdated. Thankfully I switched to an excellent neurologist who helped correctly diagnose my condition which led to spinal cord decompression surgery, reversing my paralysis! Please avoid Kole.
