Dr. Levy change my world for the better!
Ever time I visited Dr. Levy, he always made me feel like I was a friend of his and I felt that he always had my best interests in mind. He was confident in a way that made you feel safe and every time I brought someone in the room with me, he took the time to sit down and explain with x-rays and MRIs and everything else, exactly what my issue was and how he fixed it. I went from pain 95% of the time to no pain at all. Seeing Dr. Levy after PT, crutches, and numberous other doctors was a game changer for me. Dr. Levy is held at one of the highest standards of people in my entire lifetime. If you are lucky enough to get the chance to meet him or have him care for you, I truly believe you are in the best hands to be. Thank you Dr. Levy!

AH-MAZING Doctor!!!!!!
Dr Levy found the issue with my tendon that others had missed. Over a decade of searching for help. I had an unnecessary hip replacement & that did nothing for the pain. He did a tendon release & I woke with NO back pain, NO groin pain & I could stand up straight!!! Not only is he a great knowledgeable surgeon but a kind & understanding person. He genuinely cares. His team from start to finish were wonderful as well!!!!! Never had any problems. If you are lucky enough to get his help you are in great hands. I can’t say enough good things about him or his team. I was truly blessed to be in his care. He’s a 5 star Doc & person. (Who loves the band Rush). But don’t hold that against him. Lol

Dr. Bruce Levy is a Rock Star!!!
My experience started Feb. 2018 when I was experiencing abdominal pain when lifting my left leg. Things went from bad to worse, & by July 2018 I had bouts of hip impingements causing me to be unable to sit, stand, walk, or function from the pain. For two years (in my area) I saw several Dr.'s, was hospitalized, had numerous scans, months of PT, injections, & months lost at work with no answers, before being fortunate enough to have Dr. Bruce Levy see my records July 2020. Dr. Levy, Adam Grimm, and team knew immediately I had a torn Labrum, immediately! They described my pain and experience to a tee, I finally felt hope, they understood. I was in tears, of joy not pain. Dr. Levy was confident he could help me. I was immediately relieved. 8/17/2020 I had Hip Orthoscopy surgery and have been a new person since. I want to SINCERELY THANK everyone involved at Mayo, Rochester for “fixing” me; mind, body, and soul, especially Dr. Bruce Levy. You are the VERY BEST!!!! I am so grateful.

Hip Surgery
I lived 1 year of constant pain in my hip and I did not know if I would ever get relief. Dr. Levy fixed my shredded labrum by putting in anchors, shaving some bone down on my femur, and fixing a fracture on my pelvis by putting in one screw. I am now mostly pain free and can do normal things in life again. Dr. Levy is very kind and respectful, and definitely knows what he is doing.

Absolutely great surgeon! I tore my ACL playing soccer and he reconstructed it with my patellar tendon. Surgery went smooth and he called me 4 days post-op to see how I was doing, how kind! He explained everything very well and was always super kind and respectful. He is also in the book: “ACL Solution” which talks about recovery and staying strong. I definitely recommend Dr. Levy, he is a wonderful surgeon and person!

It took 3 years and 15 different doctor's before I got a diagnosis. He walks in, sees how I'm sitting and he says "Oh I know what's wrong. Let's pull up your imaging." 30 seconds later, he shows me what everyone else missed. 2 months later I have my surgery, and 1 month after that I'm back to being a normal human. No pain, no limp, no cane. I 100% feel Dr. Levy is the reason I'm still here. I had given up because I didn't think there was a diagnosis. After 14 different doctor's told me I was making it up, it gets to you. He found it, he fixed it, and he gave me my life back.

Absolutely, just on his knowledge and personality as to how he treats you as his patient. But even as important is the procedure Dr. Levy does as to your psoas and or groin, that can releive that awful pain you have been living with, from your hip, back and groin area. I had a double hip replaceplent, in a different facility, and unfortunetely, fell into the 10 percent of those with continued pain. I was on the list to have my replacement redone, much more recovery and pain than the first, until my docs at the mayo suggested Dr. Levys procedure. It took 15 min, yes I was put out, and has helped me tremendously . That was my right side, and as we thought may have to do my left in the future. I will start PT this week and strengthen those muscles. But the first 2 days, I was walking 2 miles, and have been at 8,000 steps since. I highly recommend seeing if this procedure might help you as well.

His bedside manner is the best of the best! He is cheerful and explains things in easy to understand terms. He did my hip arthroscopy, shaving bone and placing 6 anchors to repair my labrum and more. I was pain free within a couple of days after surgery. He is a very skilled surgeon with a fabulous personality!
