I encountered Dr. Spears for an ER visit I had at Arrow Springs. He barely interacted with me and was abrupt and offered no diagnosis, suggestions for aftercare and barely spoke to me. After giving me the results of very expensive tests he ordered at the ER Facility, he did walked away without even giving me a chance to ask any questions. He missed a diagnosis of a serious condition that I was able to confirm with my Primary Care physician days later. He did not even review the results of the tests he ordered to get after leaving ER until 10 days later - far after I had received my diagnosis with my PCP. He was rude through his dismissiveness and unwillingness to even talk to me, let alone diagnosis me. This was a horrible experience.

I want to write to you about carelessness of the medical providers for regular consumers. In 05/2015 my daughter stretched her muscle and I had to take her to the Bethesda Arrow Spring emergency service. She was in pain, emergency room staff did what needs to be done, I do appreciate their service. My complain is about doctor Bruce Spears. He did enter the room and asked how my daughter is feeling ; that is it. After two month we received the bill for more than $300 for his “vis

A barely polite Dr. Spears spent perhaps 2 minutes with me reviewing care provided by a PA, a nurse and a radiology tech. For this, he billed $888.00. This was only for his services - all other charges billed separately.

I've never had an ER doctor take so much time to make surextra I was comfortable and understood what was going on. I would highly recommend Dr. Bruce Spears and his team at Arrow Springs. They really made an unbearable moment bearable. Thank you.
