Dr Bruno L Cancado Machado is a great urologist at UAMS. I have been seeing Dr. Machado since 2021 for a Neurogenic Bladder and other things. He listens compassionately, and is always certain of the best course to take. He is always treating the whole patient, not just the symptom. I am a 76 year old person living on a fixed income, and Dr. Machado is always sympathetic to my financial limitations in the solutions he provides. He truly is a great urologist with compassion for all patients, both wealthy and poor. He sees most outpatients at the new UAMS Urology Clinic on N. Rodney Parham Rd in Little Rock, that is so easy to access and has ample parking close to the clinic. Each visit that I have with him is more like a visit with a friend who happens to also be a doctor specializing in urology. Whatever you need, whether it be simple or life threatening, Dr. Machado has expertise and experience in treating all types of urological medical disease and issues in a compassionate manner.

Dr. Machado is very personable, clearly articulates treatment options and puts patients first. In past experiences urological procedures can seem scary and often painful but Dr. Machado does not rush into things. He takes his time to ensure that everything is quick and goes smoothly. Cannot recommend him enough, you will be under good care!

BEST DR. EVER. Saw 4 specialist for 2 years. No help. Dr. Machado LISTENED, believed my pain (post vasectomy pain syndrome) and came up with treatment plan A, B, C, D. He tried everything to help me, ultimately going with plan D. He wrote letter to my insurance explaining my need for surgery (vas reverseal). Ins. usually won’t pay for that. Thanks to Dr. Machado I got surgery I needed. I have my life back, dropped 32 lbs since reversal due to pain relief. GREAT SURGEON, very minimal scaring. A++
