Unprofessional and wasted my time and money.
Dr. Hoff verbally contradicted the specialists and yet used their testing and diagnosis for his treatment plan. The diagnosis turned out to be incorrect. He insisted HE was the expert and subsequently we should listen only to him (he was incorrect). He was insistent that I pack up and bring all of the supplies I had to the appointment so he could check them and yet he never looked at them. He said the most important thing he could do is “get a weight and then discuss a plan”. That didn’t happen either. We traveled all day and got a motel for this?

Completely Unhelpful and Condescending
After years of insomnia, was referred to this specialist. He was dismissive and impatient, quickly prescribed a CPAP although sleep apnea had been previously ruled out multiple times, was condescending, and offered a mental health diagnosis that he suggested was the true problem. Gaslighting. Completely and totally inappropriate. I went on to find my own solutions, and I would recommend finding a more professional and qualified specialist elsewhere. One of the worse medical experiences I have ever had.
