Doctor hooker is very intent on really helping his patients. I have recieved the best care and advice I've ever gotten at north GA primary care. Highly recommend Dr. H!

Bad wait time
I like him, but the wait time is horrible every time. They over-book him. It’s like the more patients they can cram in the better. When I’m sick I don’t feel like waiting 2 hours.

Are you aware that your physician is also the doctor working for georgia mountain hospice… he writes their scripts and signs the death certificates. When my husband was in hospice dr hooker was concerned about filling my husbands pain meds because he was worried about my husband’s liver! He was in hospice! Who cares about his liver! The day before my husband passed, dr hooker declined to fill my husbands pain meds! What? And we could “pick them up tomorrow but dr hooker decreased the dose from 2 mg per 2 hours to .5 mg every 3 hours! What doctor decreases pain meds when their pt is in hospice? So take heed. You may like him in the office but dont ask for his compassion if your loved one is in hospice. Ps. He also made an error on his death certificate! Shame in this doctor!

Dr. Hooker has over 14 years experience with geriatric patients. He is kind and listens to their concerns. Then he knows what treatments work best with the elderly. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
