I just had my first prenatal app this morning with Dr. Labuda. For backstory, I've had 4 miscarriages and this is my 5th pregnancy. I was asking about ultrasounds in my app (I'm 8.5 weeks). He said you had one at 7 weeks, no more until 20 weeks. I said even given my history?? he said its not going to change anything and he's 'not changing the plan'. Now, in my opinion, as the patient, i should have a say in the 'plan', but i had ZERO say. I will do everything to avoid seeing him during my pregnancy. I felt ignored, dismissed and almost scolded in a way? for asking about my concerns. They were not heard or acknowledged.

Stage 4 cancer
Saw him in the ED and scans were concerning for cancer. He brushed it off and said it’s never cancer in somebody my age. Now dealing with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

I am so grateful.
My physical visit with Dr. Labuda was today but I was contacted by him a week ago to go over what my needs were, what symptoms I was experiencing and some of the options that we could explore when I met him a week later. His care was EXCEPTIONAL, on the phone and certainly in person. I chose him after a particularly horrific experience with another AHN doctor and he redeemed my faith in being cared for as a woman with gynecological needs. THANKS DR. LABUDA! I am so utterly grateful.

Do not see this man. He does not listen to you or the other members of his team. He does not care about your opinion, wants or needs, and has no interest in what you are asking or saying. Too worried about going to lunch than making sure you are heard and taken care of. Ruined my life because he couldn't be bothered to go make another phone call, to really hear me or compromise when there was nothing wrong other than the fact that he didn't care at all what I wanted or the other members of his team were saying/suggesting. His way or the highway, with no consideration for what you've been through, are asking or saying. I should've had a say but he is not interested in giving you one.

Horrible experience. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. He dismissed all of my questions. It was a awful visit and I was charged $600 for absolutely nothing. Look elsewhere for a gyno.

His bedside manner is very poor and he does not have a lot of patience for questions. He was very rude and inpatient during prenatal visits. Months later, had my first c section (thankfully not with him), he was the attending physician the next day and was really terrible to work with and get answers from. He seemed bothered by me. To make things worse, he did my son's circumcision and had to use silver nitrate in one spot. Another spot was not fully cut and now my child has to have a revision
