Good doc
Took more time than most docs. He explains things well and answers questions. He returns calls sooner than others. Took time to actually listen to my heart unlike some visits especially with younger docs. Helped me get cardiac rehab. Real friendly

Exceptional
I am typically in the waiting room less than 5 minutes. Dr Young spent over 45 minutes with me the first visit and more than 30 every time since. Patiently listens to everything I have to say and answers all my questions. I have seen him for three years now following my heart attack and feel great. Talks about diet and exercise - doesn't just push pills. Very friendly. Answers calls.

Does not listen or correctly go through medical records to see obvious cardiovascular diseases. Second guesses and argumentative about the obvious cardiac issues that are life threatening. Highly recommend avoiding his practice within Veterans Affairs and privately.
