Dr. C Nesmith Jr, MD

Dr. Nesmith has taken care of me for many years. He is very kind and caring. He thinks outside of the box. Were other Drs are dismissive he listens closely to the patient and finds the answer. I highly recommend him. He is my Dr. and now has become a friend that I can trust.

I know that's not a very high bar, but I've been to other gastro docs that spent less than 30 seconds in the room with me. He sat down, introduced himself, explained the thought process behind what he recommended, and made sure my questions were answered. I absolutely enjoyed meeting him and his staff was very friendly. Checked all the boxes plus more! Would recommend!!

Great staff, like Nesmith attitude

Had been seeing another office for around 15 years. After recent bad experiences there, I decided to try Dr. Nesmith since a friend recommended him. His staff was efficient and friendly. Dr. Nesmith listened to my concerns. He didn’t rush to major tests but conservative steps to show if further testing was necessary. He also had excellent “bed side manner” and was easy to talk to about what was going on with my health. He explained things in layman’s terms so it didn’t come across as condescending, but rather informative.

Dr Nesmith was my 4th opinion. I have struggled with finding someone who will actually listen to what I am experiencing. He was attentive, caring and even threw in a few jokes. He didn't rush the appointment. I researched several doctors and read reviews....and I am very happy that I did. He lived up to his good reviews.

Scheduled routine colonoscopy with AGA. Had 45 minute wait, then 5 minutes with Dr Nesmith. I did not care much, has I had them before, but then following procedure, I had an unexpected charge after a precert told me all was covered. Called billing center and they referred me back to AGA offices. Dr Nesmith's assistant, Ravi or Raji, never returned my 2 voicemail messages to discuss this charge. Still in 4 month runaround dispute between billing collectionsand my insurance co who cannot explain charge without office input.

I was very pleased with Dr. Neesmith. He was attentive and caring. I'm very happy with him!

We've had a terrible experience with Dr. Nesmith. My mother in law has gall stones and Nesmith has not called her. Just ordered more tests. She's still sick and throwing up. This has been going on for six weeks. Super disappointing.
