Dr Tourje finally helped relieve my pain! I’ve been in pain for years and have seen pain doc after pain doc searching for relief. Since no one was able to fix my pain I was prescribed an opioid and have been on it for years. When I switched to Dr Tourje she sat with me for over half an hour talking through my pain and possible solutions. She decided to do a procedure to fix my pain instead of mask it with drugs…and it worked! Finally after all this time my pain is gone! I would say I have 90% relief and I can finally pick up my kids without my back hurting. I would highly recommend Dr Tourje if you want your pain gone and not just masked!

I came to Dr. Tourje after years of suffering from low back pain. I had seen multiple pain doctors and tried a lot of medications but nothing had helped me. Dr. Tourje took the time to listen to me and examine me to find the real problem. After my SI joints were injected, my low back pain is gone. For the first time in over twenty years, I don't have back pain any more and I don't need medications all the time. I can finally do the things I want to do without fear that my back will freeze up and I will have severe pain. Highly recommend this office and doctor if you are suffering!

Dr Tourje was attentive and patient, even when I had a spasm in her office. She took the time to listen to me and my background and made an effort to understand my back pain. She implanted a stimulator device in just a few minutes and my pain is completely gone! She is my fourth pain doctor and is the first to fix my pain instead of just treat me with drugs. Thank you for everything, Dr Tourje!

Dr Tourje was fairly personable, but from day one she tried to sell me the spinal cord stimulator. I opted to have surgery instead, and when I was still having pain post surgery she said, '...I told you so.' When my surgeon recommended another epidural injection she said '...it won't work.' She sent me home with yet another brochure for spinal cord stimulator. Then when I was prepped for epidural with IV in my arm I asked her for reassurance that she would proceed with care. She got so angry (and hurt) and interpreted what I said as an insult. She wanted to halt the epidural right then. I had to practically beg her to continue, which she did. Then when I asked her to forward my medical records over to the new pain specialist, she did not do so.
