Dr. Caleb Parker, MD

Very hard to see this Dr. I scheduled a physical three months out. An hour before my appointment I received a phone call to cancel my appointment. It was a Friday morning before a forecast very nice weekend. This is not the first time I have had a very difficult time trying to see this Dr.

I am aware of THREE former patients who had awful experiences with Dr. Caleb Parker and a staff member who was fired. I am also alarmed. One patient was told that Cone Health does not investigate LaBauer physicians. “As we have previously shared with you on multiple occasions, LeBauer Horse Pen Creek is a medical office clinic. It is not a hospital location, nor is it accredited with the Joint Com nor licensed by the NC Division of Health Service Regulation.”YLMV because I was told that the company office did not take any phone calls to explain.

I am a new patient. My former primary care doctor left the area. I really appreciated the time he took with me to understand my needs.

Do not choose this doctor if you want an appointment within 3 to 4 months of contacting his office. New patients are given extremely low priority. I tried to schedule an appointment in August and was told that they could "schedule me an appointment in November or December" because he limits the number of new, fully insured patients. THREE to FOUR MONTHS LATER! I really wish I had known that before choosing him as my PCP. He was NOT listed as 'not accepting new patients' when I chose his practice. Others were straightforward about not accepting new patients and I appreciate them not wasting my time. This doctor should be listed as NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. Telling people to wait FOUR MONTHS for an appointment = NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I am not disparaging Dr. Parker's abilities in any way as I never had any interaction with him. I am providing information to others who may be searching for a PCP. You will be told to wait at least 3 months for an appointment.

I am a new patient of Dr. Parker. My former physician retired and I decided to go to Dr. Parker. He treats both me and my husband. We really appreciate his knowledge and patience. He is easy to talk with and answers any questions we might have.
