he's in it for the money not helping patients
he tried t convince me to have a back stimulator ( I had and was so painful I had it removed ) and told it did not work. he only does non-effective steroid shots.

If you want pain relief, don't see Dr. Chiang
To date, my experience with Dr. Chiang has been not helpful to say least. He doesn't listen to what you are saying, contradicts what he has said at a previous appointments and appears to not care about the level of discomfort you are in or that it is preventing you from living your day to day life. It's taken me over two weeks to be able to even talk about recent test results. Every time I have visited the office, I wait no less than 30 to 45 minutes (and there is never anyone else in the waiting room) . I would not recommend going to him for any level of pain. Ever.

Hands down the worst dr I’ve ever had. He wouldn’t listen to me, would dismiss my suggestions for my care with no real reason, and would often suggest I was lying about the severity of my condition. He gave me a referral to a rheumatologist and after getting a new diagnosis from that dr he told me it was wrong and was not that bad. I would cry after every appointment because he made me feel so horrible simply because I was trying to get help for my pain and to him it was all imaginary. He was vary cold and had no bedside manner at all. I never got any help from him and only left with emotional trauma from the experience.

I ended up calling and reporting dr. Chaing for his horrible etiquette (the 1 and only time I have ever reported anyone in my life) because that's how disgusted I was after leaving his office. I waited an hour. He was so rude to me from the 1st second. I never once felt like he was listening to me. I felt completely dismissed. Fell down on the floor crying (in front of my 7 year old Dr chaing told me my son looked bored and we should go have a good day. Then stepped over me and left. A nurse had to comfort me. Then he couldnt even fill out my notes properly and filled in that I had no children in my visit notes/report. ???????

If you want someone who cares to listen and understand you then please do not go to Dr. Chiang. He will talk the whole time and not let you talk. I have young kids that want their mommy fixed or even helped after 3 years of going through 5 surgeries. I would not recommend him to anyone at all. Please, if anyone is reading this that can help future patients, change the ways of this careless and heartless dr. Please. ??????

Would not recommend Dr. Chiang to my worst enemy. He just doesn't listen. For chronic pain, find someone else. He may very well be an excellent anesthesiologist, for that is the field of study in which he was trained, but as a pain and symptom management Doctor he's a total failure.

Dr Chiang was by far the most unprofessional doctor I have every visited. As someone who had Colon Cancer and is still dealing with Colon pain, I was hoping he could help. Not only did he push that the pain was in my mind, but also blamed me when I asked him why he didnt tell me I had to taper off some medications I was on (I had severe side effects due to it). When I confronted him, he basically yelled at me. After nerve block surgery, he basically said thats all he can do and booted me. Nice!

horrible experience I waited two months for the appointment and two hours before he came in the room. he is a very rude and inconsiderate doctor. He is only in this for the money. He did not want to hear anything I had to say. I left out that office in tears. Going to see him was a waste of time.

I would recommend this doctor as he is a very caring patient and professional person and has been very helpful to me over the past 2 years. He spends a good amount of time explaining things to me and I never feel rushed at all. The pain doctor I saw before I met Dr. Chiang was always in a hurry and did not explain things well so it was nice to have a more positive experience. I feel very confident in this doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone

I went to Dr Chiang from 2008-2012 following a lower back injury while working at RGH. My pain level only increased. I never had been given any work restrictions so I had to go back to the same job I had as an RN. In fact Dr Chiang told me, " It was good for me to continue to work and that I was not hurting myself any further". So I worked with Tens Units hooked to me every day. By 2012 the pain went down my L leg. Had an appt in 2015 with him and he then treated me like a Drug Addict. I am not
