New, Very Knowledgeable, Listens, Concerened.
So far, so good! I wanted an appointment with my 'regular' primary doctor (my 4th now at Optum, they keep leaving or retiring) and he's down to just ONE day at my local office! So the staff suggested seeing Dr. Shoapour instead, about my recent serious breathing / sinus / coughing condition. As I wrote in the title, she is Very Knowledgeable, Listens, and Concerned when talking to me, probing for a possible diagnosis. Sent me right away for a Chest X-ray and a Lab Test and a prescription for a Sinus Infection (causing mucus complications); and suggested seeing a ENT Specialist ASAP. She was right on about the sinus issue. Will be switching to Dr. Shoapour as my regular GP. She is young and thoughtful. (I hope she doesn't leave Optum's revolving door of Doctors too!)
