Easiest surgery ever!
Over a year ago, I met with Dr. Adkisson about a pain on my right side. He ordered a CT scan but unfortunately it revealed nothing. Fast forward a year, and the pain was more frequent. He did an exploratory laparoscopic procedure (5-23-2024 ) to see what was going on. As we suspected, I had an inguinal hernia which he repaired during this procedure. This was the easiest abdominal surgery I’ve ever had (appendix, gall bladder surgeries prior). I had some pain for three days and from then on just a little soreness. I have never had a surgery that was so painless and such an easy recovery. I definitely recommend him! He’s just a nice person too! I hope I don’t need more surgery, but I’ll definitely go back to him if I do.

Husbands Surgery
My husband had hernia surgery with Dr Adkisson in August. The surgery went extremely well, and Dr Adkisson was so kind and obviously a great surgeon. My husband is doing great now and he is full of energy that he feels ten years younger. Not sure that I could take myself or my husband to anyone else after such a completely terrific experience. I am writing this review to let everyone know about Dr Adkisson and how he personally improved the quality of our lives. Its really priceless.

Nope
This doctor removed my thyroid and I lost voice register and my ability to scream. He mistakenly cut a nerve in my vocal cords. I would not recommend him to my enemy even

This doctor is amazing. He is very patient , responds promptly and really cares. He also has a great sense of humor. He removed two lumps in my breast and I would recommend him highly. I hope I never need a surgeon again but if I do he would be first on my list.

Excellent. I was sent to the ER for emergency surgery for acute diverticulitis with perforated abscess. Dr. Adkisson explained all the possibilities of the surgery to me in detail and we moved forward only once I was comfortable with the approach. Unfortunately there was much more damage and Dr. Adkisson had to remove more than expected. I am thankful to him for acting quickly and saving me from future surgeries. He was kind, compassionate, has a great sense of humor and unlike other doctors and surgeons, explained everything in detail. He also didn’t mind questions. He is a breath of fresh air. I can’t thank him enough, and would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Adkisson performed a hernia-mesh repair on me. He never requested an MRI before the operation. I was left with a lot of pain, blood clots and required surgery from another surgeon to repair.

Did emergency surgery for appendicitis. Quick assessment ( This was great, my appendix probably would have ruptured if he waited long!), scheduled surgery. I was back in my room and recovering before I knew it. He and his Team at Baptist South were great! Thank You ALL! ??????

I had to have an emergency appendix removal and Dr Adkisson came in prior to his scheduled start time to squeeze me into his very busy schedule. What an amazing doctor. I have not encountered such a caring and thoughtful physician. He was so sincere in his care that I would recommend him highly to any friend or family member. Thank you Doctor Adkinsson! This is the doctor you want! He listens. He doesn't rush you. He answers questions. He is extremely patient. He answers phone calls immediately. He is caring. I needed some tests done on the day of surgery and nurses and technicians asked who was doing the surgery and when I told them it was Dr. Adkisson every one of them gave him glowing reviews! I cannot praise him enough. I hope I never need surgery again, but if I do I want Dr. Adkisson!

Dr Adkisson took care and operated on my granddaughter. He was kind, listened and explained everything along the way. He even called 3 days later to check on her! You don't find many doctors like him and I would recommend him highly.

Dr. Cameron Adkisson I did not know such a caring wonderful doctor existed today in this world. He is so handsome, when your first meet him, you are wondering ? is this really a doctor??? Thats the least of it... After my surgery, every nurse that attended me... repeated over and over, they had never worked with a doctor that was so kind, so caring. so understanding. My name is Albert Strickland if you have a question Strick1931@att.net

Wow, I just loved him so much. He prepared me for my surgery, was very honest and patient. Returned my call to answer my questions. Explained how painful it was going to be and what I would experience after the surgery. He was very conscience of my pain level. Excellent bedside manner. Highly recommend him .

Having to have surgery was one of my biggest fears in life. However, I'm so glad that my surgeon was Dr. Adkisson. He's a very talented young man, and has a great personality to boot. He's very calming and reassuring, coupled with a wealth of knowledge about his specialty. My surgery was easy as pie and my recovery has been great. He listens and truly cares about all of your concerns, even the silly ones! Best yet, you never feel rushed in his presence. Absolutely recommend him!
