Dr. Camille Thelin, MD

Dr. Thelin is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on motility. She is able to explain things in a patient friendly manner. She is extremely caring and wants to find the root cause. She is the first GI, who I have seen, who truly understands motility and doesn’t want to put a bandaid on symptoms. If you have motility issues go see Dr. Thelin you won’t regret it!!

Dr. Thelin listens, cares and explains everything in detail. She is thorough during appointments and has an amazing bedside manner. My experience with her has been exceptional.

Dr. Thelin has always been very caring and compassionate with me. She understands Gastropresis much better than most GI Specialists. She has always listened to me, I find her quick to find a solution and not just prescribe another prescription. She is very much a solution seeker! I love the care she gives.

Hands down best doctor we have found in 18 years with gastroparesis! She is so compassionate and helpful. We have a game plan to get life back! So happy we found her!

Dr. Thelin is beyond awesome, I cannot recommend her highly enough. In addition to being an outstanding medical doctor she is caring and compassionate as well as a great communicator. I always leave knowing exactly what she found (if anything) and what is next. Plus Dr. Thelin always follows up personally with test results. I have issues that require continuous monitoring and feel I am in very good hands with her. One less thing to worry about.

I'm a middle aged woman and Dr Thelin is the first doctor to speak to me like I'm a child by using descriptive words like "angry stomach". Seriously, I asked her directly if she had toddlers at home because of the way she spoke to me. Her response was even better by getting defensive and using complicated medical terminology in a sentence suggesting that I wouldn't understand what she was saying so she uses basic primary words with her patients. The doctor should take training or any classes for her social and communication skills to learn how to interact and communicate with adult patients at a level of comprehension and articulation appropriate beyond adolescent skills. The rest of the visit was also not useful as she was suppose to place me in the appointment queue for outpatient procedure, still waiting 3 months later, and 1 month after I messaged her in my chart, nothing. That may be management or staffing issues and out of the doctors control. Highly NOT recommended.

I would highly recommend Dr Thelin. She is a caring, thorough doctor . She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate as well. She explains everything up front which is not common with doctors.
