Dr. Candace Hinote, MD

I’ve had 3 babies with Hinote and she is my PCP. She is the perfect balance of straightforward and compassionate. She is straightforward and easy to understand when she explains things. She is compassionate in a way that lets you feel heard and taken care of at the highest level. Every appointment she sits down with you and listens and talks things out. She never seems to be rushed. Hinote is a calm and cool under pressure. I have seen her lead the OR team during stressful situations and it only confirmed what I knew… that is she is GOOD medically and respected by the team. I feel incredibly confident in my medical care with Hinote!

After seeing 4 different gynecologists from 2016-2024, Dr. Hinote was the ONLY one to listen enough to figure out that I have PCOS. I was missing many of the symptoms and really only struggling with insulin resistance, but that alone had made my life incredibly difficult for as long as I can remember. I'd previously seen two different providers at MOGA and one other OBGYN in another state, all of which were a waste of my time and money. Dr. Hinote did not make me feel rushed in any of my appointments with her, and she was prepared to send me to several specialists if their in-house testing didn't return with any answers. She solved the mystery that other doctors didn't care enough to solve, and restored quality to my life because of it! Highly recommend.A note about the practice: nursing staff is lovely, front desk &phone call interactions are abysmal. You'll have a terrible time, and they'll hate you for walking in the door. But given the care of the nurses and doctors it's worth it

I don’t get nearly enough time with the provider and appointments feel rushed with the provider. I spent more time waiting and with in office staff. I had a medical appointment that was exceptionally long because no one communicated with me that she was delivering a baby. If that was the case, give me the option to reschedule, rather than have me sit there for hours.

She always takes the time to listen to any concerns I have and I never feel rushed.

Dr. Hinote is one if the kindest people I have ever met. She genuinely cares about her patients and is so patient. I never feel like she is rushed, and she always takes time to answer questions. She listens to concerns and never dismisses any worry I bring up. I've been seeing her since moving to Memphis and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Hinote is awesome. She is a good listener, very caring and explains things to you if you have questions. I never feel rushed.

Best Doctor ever! Excellent bedside Manner. Very understanding and easy to talk to. Office staff is friendly. Sure sometimes I wait longer than I would like but the OBGYN field is not always predictable. If I’m waiting it’s because a baby has decided to enter this world, someone in the next room is receiving council for PPD, horrible news is being delivered to an expectant mother or maybe a new found cancer patient, etc. I never wait because Dr. Hinote is busy playing paddy cake in her office

I am seriously dumbfounded that anyone would give Dr. Hinote a 1 star review! She is my all time favorite doctor. She never makes you feel rushed and will answer the same question 20 times over until you feel comfortable. She likes to err on the side of caution which I find preferable when dealing with babies and lady parts! She literally got up on the table and held my hand during my spinal, pre C-section. She came in on her off day to do my sons circumcision because I had concerns about a dr.

Dr. Hinote is so knowledgeable and so caring, which is just an ideal set of qualities for an effective doctor. I have seen her for a few years, during which I have dealt with an eating disorder, and she has been so helpful and understanding (whereas most doctors don't even attempt to understand and end up exacerbating the issue). I have never felt judged, which is so important for this area of medical care (getting our lady parts inspected). I highly recommend her!

seen her before & during my pregnancy & she was wonderful! the staff at the office were friendly as well... i would recommend her to anybody
