Dr. Carey Rowan, MD

I needed eyelid surgery in both eyes. First procedure was in May, my right eye is still droopy and my left eye is wide open. Went back in October for a second procedure on both eyelids- they rescheduled my appointment for suture removal because Dr Rowan was not going to be in the office which made it 2 weeks instead of 10 days and the tech had difficulty removing the sutures because scabs formed over the stitches. A second tech was needed - after the painful removal Dr Rowan came in and said see you in 3 months- my eyes look the same no improvement at all. I paid for the 2nd procedure which was performed with just a local. It was very painful. Why did he have to reschedule suture removal when he did nothing at all except say see you in 3 months. I don’t feel that Dr Rowan is worth all the hype - I would not recommend him.

I made an appointment with Dr. Rowan because I wasn't happy with the previous ophthalmologist I had been seeing. He was so kind, understanding and knowledgeable regarding my issues. Long story short, I scheduled a cataract surgery yesterday. It went so well that after 24 hours, my vision was 20 20. I have already scheduled my 2nd eye for cataract surgery, as well. His staff, in it's entirety, is also so caring, understanding, and helpful. I thank God that he was recommended to me. I am so happy. Thank you Dr. Rowan and staff.

New patient here!!! From the moment I walked in I had a great vibe here!! Everyone from the front staff, back staff and Dr were so sweet! It was such a breath of fresh air. The office was super organized and I was in and out no time. Glad I found this place and will definitely be a frequent patient going forward.

We were there for almost 2 hours, saw the Dr. for 5 minutes. At check out we were informed that since we didn't want to pay for the refraction eye test we could not get the new prescription. Since when do you go in for an annual eye exam and it doesn't include getting the new prescription unless you pay an extra $50.00 when your insurance covers eye exams?

Dr. Rowan is outstanding, because he cares about each patient and the outcome of the surgery. I first saw Dr. Rowan for cataract surgery, and he completed one eye at a time, so I would have time to heal each eye. My eye sight improved dramatically immediately, so we discussed eyelid surgery, and I scheduled my appointment for a few months later. My eyelid surgery was completely successful and I can see again. Not to mention, my eyes look beautiful. Thanks, Dr. Rowan!

Dr Rowan was amazing and was so kind and professional with my mom. I was surprised that he spoke Spanish which made the examination accurate. Thanks also to the staff for everything they did.
