Dr. Carl Askren, MD

Was told he was the best in Fresno. I would disagree. I’m left looking worse than I started and he doesn’t seem to care. There were multiple instances that would make me never return. From the clueless front desk girls to the 2-3 hour wait times for a 3 min appt with Dr to medical assistants answering questions only a Dr should answer. What he starts out as a treatment plan, doesn’t go that way. He changes his mind and forgets what he told you and then defers you away from doing something else he said would help after the initial surgery. Hours late mult times. Appts cancelled and rescheduled 90% of the time. It’s annoying that a 2 month post op has turned into 6 months do to them rescheduling each appt. I would advise to look elsewhere. There’s newer plastic surgeons and possibly better. Maybe the more he makes off you he would care or make more time for you. Not sure but extremely unhappy with his work.
