Dr Ruthman is a kind, highly intelligent, circumspect physician. I was impressed by his clinical acumen, knowledge, life saving interventions, and his attentiveness to my mother's health and wellbeing. I highly recommend him.

As someone who has medical issues, this has to be the WORST doctors office in the entirety of the United States- all jokes aside. They don’t return your calls, and a nurse slammed the door on me so that the whole building shook. By the lack of reaction from the front desk staff, I’m assuming this has happened before.

Dr Ruthman, in my opinion is the best pulmonologist in SW Florida. He always takes his time with me and has a warm and friendly bedside manor. I recently got COVID after being fully vaccinated. Dr. Ruthman was so there for me. Knowing that I am high risk he had me check in with him several times a day. Not many clinicians out there that would offer that.

My mother is 72 and does not like going to a doctor. Luckily, she has not had many health issues up until this point but, as she is getting older, she is experiencing some concerns, one of which being a persistent cough that led us to Dr. Ruthman. Our experience with him has been phenomenal. My mother's main complaint with our current system is that a doctor will be with you for 5 minutes, they will decide what is wrong with you without your input and then prescribe a medication (sometimes multiple) and send you on your way. Dr. Ruthman takes the time to listen to all of your concerns, answer your questions, explains his diagnosis thoroughly and then discusses with you what your treatment options are. He is the only doctor that my mother trusts and has actually helped to diagnose and treat problems unrelated to his area of pulmonology. I am sincerely grateful for his professionalism and compassion and wish that all doctors could be your ally in your healthcare as Dr. Ruthman is.
