This doctor does not brush off a patient’s complaint but rather treats the whole body, working to eliminate any mistaken ideas about a condition and to build knowledge and awareness of methods of healing from medication to lifestyle. She found my answer when others had failed for 3 years to pursue treatment for my Lupus. I can’t fail but to impress upon others the ability and professionalism of this doctor. No one will find a more caring or conscientious doctor than Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn.

Dr Fabiola Gamarra-Hilburn listens to you and evaluates you thoroughly before a diagnosis! Very considerate to you needs to determine the right method to elevate pain. It isn’t all about pills! Best I have seen to help with my arthritis !

Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn is very knowledgeable and thorough with her patients. She actually takes time to listen to her patients before scheduling labs or making diagnoses. I have been seeing a Rheumatologist since 1995 and Dr Hilburn is one of the best I have encountered.

Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn is kind and caring. I started seeing her a couple of years ago and she expressed appropriate concern for vulnerable patients with low immune systems. My treatment included changing medications several times due to side effects of medications. She was knowledgeable and thorough during this time of searching for the right medication for me. I now am stable on a medication and I am grateful for Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn's expertise.

Dr Gamarra is thorough, she listens, and she responds promptly to my concerns. In addition, she has a warm and inviting manner. She is so easy to talk to too. And, Her appoints run on time. Anyone lucky enough to be treated by Dr, Gamarra will not be unhappy.

Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn has been treating my psoriatic arthritis for nearly two years. The conservative approach taken with medication has worked fantastically. My hands and feet had started to become rather stiff and painful to use. Since I have been under her care I have felt great. Back to playing tennis, hiking, playing soccer. Totally back to normal and no side-effects form the medication. She's also friendly and easy to talk to if I do have any concerns or questions. So glad I found the right doctor first time.

When I first went to visit Dr Gamarra-Hilburn, I could barely walk because my knees and feet hurt so bad, and I was having to use a cane. After examining me and listening to my situation she prescribed new medications and set up monthly visits. I now am able to walk without the cane, have very little pain and I feel so much better. She has always listened to my concerns and never rushed me in and out of her exam room! I give Dr Gamarra-Hilburn five stars on her professionalism and ability. I would recommend her to anyone who is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Thank you Doctor for helping me to feel better again!!!

Was referred to Houk Rheumtology and thought I would be in good hands because Dr. Houk gets great reviews. Unfortunately, I was assigned Dr. Gammarra-Hilburn. Her nurse was nice and attentive at the time of the visit, but the Dr. was very dismissive. Before even even listening to family history, looking at medical history, reviewing labs, etc., she advised that I was just fat and would be perfectly fine if I just lost weight. However, she then sent me for x-rays and blood work, which I received through the portal, and they do not agree that being "fat" is my only issue, and I have yet to hear from anyone in her office in over 3 weeks about the results. Do not recommend.

I’ve been in pain for years and trying to figure out what is going on. She was very dismissive and told me I looked healthy and needed to exercise. She said perhaps my severe fatigue was because of anxiety or depression. She completely dismissed every symptom I had because I “looked healthy.” She came across extremely uncaring and I’m not sure why I went.

Doctor pays attention, listens very closely and asks pertinent questions. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Gamarra-Hilburne has been working with me, not on me, controlling few ailments. Rheumatoid arthritis and gout are the more aggravating and osteoarthritis just does not help my case. Following Dr. Gamarra-Hilburne's instructions has help me in the recovery of mobility and diminished pain. Listens very carefully without rushing the consultations and follows with laboratory tests to make her diagnosis. You will feel comfortable and her staff is also very helpful. I am very happy with her care and I am grateful I was referred to Dr. Gamarra-Hilburne's practice.
