Had a very poor experience, the practice is not family-friendly despite being a practice dedicated to unborn children. Minors are not welcome in the practice, apparently children carry Covid. What a ridiculous excuse in 2024. Bedside manner was lacking, my husband has several questions over that was the only way he was allowed in the room. Went unanswered, or were partially answered.

Dr Ransom was covering for my doctor who was out. She walked in and because I told my nurse I had a cold, she automatically told me I had Covid and I need to get tested. I had already been to the doctor and on medicine for my cold. Also, my blood pressure was high due to the decongestant I was taking. Dr Ransom assumed it was preeclampsia and very rudely told me to go straight to the hospital. I was terrified and alone. When I reached the hospital and they took my blood pressure, it was fine. Also, all my blood work and my Covid test came back just fine. She terrified me for no reason and did not talk to me calmly either. I would expect a doctor to nicely tell a patient that to make sure baby is okay, they want to do a few extra tests. Not assume everything is the worst and demand me to go to the hospital.

She was so incredibly sweet. Unfortunately, she was just covering for another doctor in my location, I wish she was here full time. I would have definitely switched. Very warm, welcoming and comforting. Wonderful doctor.

During my pregnancy with my 1st baby my husband and I knew that we needed a specialist OB-gyn for the reason that I'am considered as high risk due to my age. And within the list of doctors they have at this office I am glad I chose Dr. Ransom for the main reason that all through out she had made me feel so comfortable with her by showing this utmost professionalism and knowledge about her job. She has a very vibrant character that makes you look forward to seeing her again on your next appt.

After multiple visits and high level ultrasounds, Dr. Ransom completely missed our child's Down's Syndrome.
