Dr did my Gastric Bypass and now a Gallbladder removal last week. He is a great Dr with a good bedside manner. I have never had any issues from my surgeries with him.

This doctor was so insensitive and rude. His bedside manner is disappointing to say the least. I had complications after my surgery he wasn't very helpful so, another doctor had to correct it.

Dr. Juarez
Dr. Juarez is arrogant and rude. His bedside manner is horrible. He belittled me and my feelings and made me feel small and worthless. I visited him for help losing weight, and he was judgmental when I didn't get rapid results. He said it was my fault I struggle with weight loss because, according to him, I lack discipline. I left his office in tears on several occasions after his rude interactions. I did not get the support I needed. Please, if you care about your mental health, do not visit this monster.

Dr. Juarez offers LINX ®, a new laparoscopic procedure to treat GERD. This procedure involves a string of metal beads that are drawn together by a magnet. When this string is placed around the lower esophagus, the magnet pulls the beads together and closes off the esophagus from the stomach.

GERD- Anti-Reflux – Feb 09, 2021

I recently had an appendectomy with Dr. Juarez. When I asked why we had an appendix, his sarcastic response was, "So I can make money." I had questions and was genuinely interested in educating myself on the procedure and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered. As a Doctor you should want to educate your patients and not talk to them in a condescending manner. Initially, I thought perhaps because we were in the hospital setting, he was short on time, but this was the case at the follow-up appointment in his office as well. The office staff, while friendly made a lot of grammatical errors with correspondence and my note to take me off work was handwritten. Could be improved and more professional. Regarding the actual procedure, everything went well. A positive was that he did give me the option of having the incisions below the bikini line. I appreciated that. Overall, I appreciate what he did for me, but given a choice, I would not elect for surgery with Dr. Jaurez again.

He asked me to leave the consultation with my daughter because I asked him questions. Questions that he should have been able to answer. If not, a reasonable response of; I'm not familiar with that study. However, it is something I can check into, would have been the respectful and professional answer. My question was; Do you know of a study regarding life expectancy and nutritional absorption when elderly? He made faces and said, my question was facetious. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.

Dr ordered, for a bypass, a Colonoscopy, a EKG, a Psych Eval and 4- 5 sets of labs in 4 mon. Saw the Dr 2x and the NP 4-5x. We stated UPFRONT!! what the severe medical issues were and pt unable to exercise due to said issues and that a Bypass was advised to help better manage the medical issues. But after 4 months,Dr stated the patient was non-compliant due to NOT losing 25lbs a mon.for 3 mon. and because pt did not exercise. Pt. is devastated. Thx Doc!!! This was just a money grab!!!
