Dr. Carlos Rivera, MD

This doctor is very knowledgeable. He has plenty of experience. I like his professionalism. He explained to me what I had and why I should do my treatment when I showed reluctant to take pills. I recommend him and I definitely will keep him as my endocrinologist. Ok hope this help other patients decide what doctor to choose.

Worst doctor, please stay away. He never talked about any of my issues, he just wanted to make personal conversations which i didn't felt comfortable with. It got really awkward and uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend if you have any other option go for it, but this is a NO.

Didn't have any trouble getting an appointment, didn't have to wait long to be examined, Doctor was very professional and attentive, explained treatment, much better than other endocrinologist I have been to. Staff was professional and friendly also.

Dr.Rivera is an excellent doctor I highly recommend him to Family and friends.

He has been very patient and understanding unlike any of my previous endocrinologists. We ave discussed several options to deal with my out-of-control A1C. Extremely happy with Dr. Rivera's professionalism.

My mother is Dr. Rivera's patient, and I am currently looking for another doctor. Her blood sugar on 3 occasions has been over 400 and when you call for a call back, you get crickets. Not a call for checkup, not a call for follow ups, not a call for appt. confirmations, not ONE call. The staff also very unprofessional and snobbish. Look elsewhere, I know we are.

Called for an appt and the first lady I spoke twas extremely rude asking what my diagnosis was because that's the only way I could get an appt but if i had a diagnosis I wouldnt need an appt. I told her my PCP referred me to them and she still would not confirm an appt for me instead transferring me to speak to the medical assistant who was even more unprofessional and rude to me. We went to see to get my thyroid levels checked, gave blood samples for testing. After few days tried reaching their office to get my results and till date even after multiples calls and follow ups never got my results or diagnosis results. They kept me on hold and never replied to me on my diagnosis results. So i had to visit a different doctor and went through all the disgnosis process to finaly get my results. Very unprofessional and would never recomend any one to visit them.

Do not recommend at all. You don’t get seen until 3 hours after your appointment time, then the doctor spends more time talking to you about his life then actually asking you questions and examining you. I listened to him for 20 min talk about his life and not once did he ask me how I was doing or examine me. Sent him lab results that were critical and he never called me to address the issue. The office is old and not welcoming.
