I have been a patient of Dr. Santa-Cruz for over 20 years. I am on Medicare (HMO). I receive a bill for $57.91. I tried for months, requesting an explanation of changes, and wrote two letters directly to Dr. Santa-Cruz instead of clarification I started getting threatening letters that if I didn't pay my account will be handed over for collection.

Incompetent staff. Impossible to reach the doctor, took almost 2 weeks to convince the staff to give my mother an appt for dangerous bleeding caused by a stent he inserted. After waiting almost 3 hours w/out breakfast for the procedure to have it removed, the staff made an error in scheduling and they canceled her scheduled surgery. Waist of time and money. The doctor then claimed he was doing her a favor, since when is taking care of YOUR patients a FAVOR? I would go elsewhere..UM sucks lately

Santa Cruz was very professional.however his office staff is lousy...... they are not at all knowledgeable and appear to make decisions poorly without the doctoors knowledge. Phone calls are not returned in a timely fashion and if you want to talk to the doctor himself , it's virtually impossible. I would highly recommend you choose another, more responsive Urologist

I would not recommend Dr. Santa-Cruz because he didn't show he cared about improving my health. He didn't show when I needed him the most. I was his patient, then I had an emergency and was at the hospital needing emergency surgery, they called him and he said, he couldn't help me, the hospital had to find me another urologist who would perform my emergency surgery. I've been out of the surgery room thanks to my new doctor who gives me good advise.

Dr. Santa Cruz is very attentive. He is not in a rush, as many doctors. He listens and responds questions nicely. He makes you feel like you are in good hands. That's all I expect any time I go to see a doctor, but rarely you find it out there.I commend doctor Santa Cruz for his good work.
